grandmother used this barber booster seat for my dad who was born in 1944 when the barbers kiddos had all outgrown it, so it is AT LEAST from 1944, earlier actually but not sure how much earlier. it started it's life as a barber booster seat and then was used as a booster seat at the table and in the car and at picnics etc. Has the original red seat and base. very cool old chair!
