Preview Date/Time In-person preview is Sunday, June 9th from 2pm to 6pm ONLY. If you are local and would like to come browse through the items being offered, we welcome you to 624 Beth Lane, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482. If you are out of state and can't attend the in-person preview, you are responsible for the bids you place on the item as shown in the pictures. We try to supply clear photos as a representation of each item being sold but photos alone don't always portray the best image so if you have questions about the item ASK before bidding.

This is a living estate online auction. It is VERY important to know that we have a tight schedule for removing items from the home. Aunt Mary’s beautiful 5-bedroom brick home has sold and as she transitions to her new place in Sherman, TX we must clear the house for the new owner who will take possession shortly after the auction. Aunt Mary has lived in this home for 27 years. She loved her home; her neighbors and you could just tell it was a special place for such a special lady. Aunt Mary worked for Jay at Bright Star Antiques for many years. She was the lady who answered your calls, decorated the building, wore many other hats but most of all she welcomed everyone with open arms. ALL CARDS WILL BE PROCESSED AT THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION – NO payments can be accepted on location. Invoice must be PAID IN FULL before picking up.
**WE WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SHIP ITEMS MARKED AS ELIGIBLE FOR SHIPPING** ***ALSO - Shipping can be expensive so please keep that in mind when placing your bids. It is hard to give shipping quotes as well since we don't know the final weight and package size.*** IN-HOUSE SHIPPING: Please be advised that shipping will not take priority over in person pickup. We will focus on local buyers first and ship items after we take them back to our office. Once your item is ready to ship, we will add the associated charges to your invoice and bill the credit card on file. We have many years of shipping experience, but we ask that you are patient with your shipping expectations. FEES: Handling - A handling fee of $3.00 per lot will be added to your invoice for EVERY lot won that will need to be shipped. This fee does not affect buyers who will do in person pick-up. Small box fee - $5.00 Medium Box Fee - $10.00 Large Box fee - $20.00 X-Large Box fee - $30.00 The box fees stated above will be determined at the time of packing. This is a PER BOX charge and will vary depending on what you are expecting to be shipped. These fees will cover the expense of extra packing supplies and labor to package and prepare the items accordingly. We will do our best to package your item for the most protection during shipping and for the most affordable shipping rates. We will be happy to combine lots for shipping if we feel they will travel safely. We NO LONGER accept pre-paid labels without advanced approval. If you plan on bidding and want to send a prepaid shipping label, please get approval before placing ANY bids! Shipping is very time consuming, and supplies are costly. Shipping – The above stated fees are for handling the merchandise ONLY and do not include the actual shipping cost. The Buyer is also responsible for the shipping charges and insurance on the package. We use a business shipping account and ship mostly through USPS Priority Mail or UPS. Bright Star Discovery is NOT responsible for items that are damaged in the mail. If the items shipped are greater than $100.00 insurance will be added at your expense to help protect your investment.
