This is an online-only auction. Lots will begin closing at Monday May 27th at 5:00 P.M CST. It is a staggered closing meaning not all lots close at once. There is also a soft close, so if someone bids in the last 2 minutes of an item closing, it will extend out another 2 minutes.
You will need to sign up with a HiBid account and have a valid credit card required for bidding approval, but will have the option to pay with cash or good check. Local pick-up is preferred, please inquire prior to bidding if shipping is required, but also know wire transfer/certitied funds may be requested for any invoice requiring shipping.
There is 10% Buyers Premium that will be added to the final purchase price if paying with cash or check. If paying with credit card, there will be an additional 5% fee for use of card, so 15% buyers premium for payment by credit card. Sales Taxed Charged if Applicable.
Acceptable payment methods are cash, good check (Letter of credit may be required if buyer is unknown to the auction company), wire transfer, or credit card with an additional 5% fee. *Shipped Invoices over $200 will require a wire transfer or certified funds unless prior arrangements are made with the auction company* Auction company reserves the right to request a wire transfer for any payment if necessary. No Credit Card Purchases over $200, payment must be cash/good check or wire transfer. If you have been approved for shipping, a wire transfer may be requested for any amount.
If your card on file does not match your name/address/city/state, you will need to pay by certified funds. If you have a bidding history for non-payment, your registration may be declined. Again, we reserve the right to request a wire transfer or certified funds for any amount! We will not be shipping gold, so please do not bid if you can not pick up the item.
Winning bidders will be emailed a link to sign up for a scheduled pickup time. Time slots will be available on Tuesday May 28th. We have an auction ending on Tuesday May 28th as well, so if you are bidding on both auctions, you can pick up your items on the 29th or 30th. All items must be picked up during the designated pick-up times that are stated. No items will be released until payment has been made in full. Items are located on ground level but bring your own help for loading if you are the winning bidder on larger pieces. Also bring any additional boxes or packing materials you may need.
If you have not been approved for shipping any items that are not picked up on those days, the card on file will be charged and they will be considered forfeited unless prior arrangements are made with the auction company. If you bid and requested shipping, but were not approved for shipping, you card will be charged and items considered forfeited unless the auctioneer agrees to ship the items.
If you are the successful bidder on an item, an invoice will be sent to the email that you registered with. You will be sent a link to sign up for a scheduled time slot. If you are unable to pick up your items on one of the designated pickup days in the time frame stated, please do not bid! If items are not picked up, your card used to register will be charged & the items will be considered forfeited. No refunds will be issued for any reason.
Sweeney Auction Service reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction if necessary. The auction company reserves the right to decline bidders if necessary. Online only bidding is a service that is provided and bidders acknowledge and understand that it may not function properly. The auction company reserves the right to cancel, postpone or pause the auction if complications or circumstances out of our control occur. We will not be held responsible for any missed bids from the system, please consider using the max bid feature which allows your bid to be treated as absentee bid.
Not responsible for theft, damage or loss of items. Not responsible in case of accidents on premises.
