TERMS AND CONDITIONS of Online Auction. Please review the terms and conditions carefully, as they create certain contractual obligations.
1.All property is sold "AS IS”, WHERE IS, NO WARRANTY” and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine the age, the condition, the value, the authenticity or any other determinative factor prior to placing a bid. Pittstop Auctions may attempt to describe the property that is pictured in each lot, but makes no representations as to the accuracy. In no event shall Pittstop Auctions or it’s representatives be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Please feel free to contact Pittstop Auctions with any specific questions or if you want any additional photos on items prior to bidding.
2. Online bidders understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value, authenticity, or any other determinative factor. Pittstop Auctions shall attempt to describe each item and any pertinent information about it, but will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase.
3. Pittstop Auctions reserves the right to withdraw, add, or re-catalog items in this auction. Pittstop Auctions also reserves the right to reject a bid from any bidder.
4. Following the conclusion of the auction, the buyer's credit card will be billed for the total winning bid plus the 15% buyer's premium and applicable taxes. Once verification from the credit card company is received, Pittstop Auctions will email a winning bid receipt with a paid in full mark. By registering for the auction, the buyer is legally binded to not issue a chargeback on his or her credit card. Declined credit cards will be ran a second time. After the second decline, the buyer will have one day to pay another way or in cash at time of pick up.
5. Items/lots are to be paid in full prior to removal from auction site. All items are to be removed on the pickup date noted unless arrangement is made with the Pittstop Auctions prior to bidding. Please bring physical or digital copy of your invoice at pickup. Bidder agrees to pay by way of cash or credit card. No checks are accepted.
6. All auction sales will be settled using the bidders credit card on file with HiBid if you have not made any other arrangements prior to bidding, please contact Pittstop Auctions. Payment methods available are credit card or cash.
7. Pittstop Auctions and the property owner of the auction being held are not responsible for accidents.
8. All Bidders agree to pay stated Buyer's Premium of 15%. All Iowa Bidders agree to pay 7% sales tax, assessed on the final invoice.
9. Items not picked up at the stated local pickup time/date or at another pre-arranged time frame may be shipped at buyer's expense or considered forfeited. Forfeited items may still incur charges to the Credit Card on file, so please ensure that you pre-arrange an alternate pickup if the scheduled local pickup is not able to be attended.
10. Items are available to be shipped domestically via the best method as determined by the Pittstop Auctions. A separate shipping invoice will be charged to the credit card on file that will include all shipping and handling fees or the charge will be added to the invoice amount and charged directly to the credit card on hand at the same time of purchase. There will be a $5 handling fee. For larger items, please pre-arranged with Pittstop Auctions.
By registering and bidding, the buyer acknowledges they understand, accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions. The buyer acknowledges that they have had ample opportunity to read the Terms and Conditions of the Sale. Further, Pittstop Auctions nor the seller, cannot, and will not, be held responsible for any interruption to the HiBid interactive bidding site, caused by any means, therefore they cannot guarantee continual, uninterrupted or error free service as the website could be interfered with by means out of their control. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning.
