First and foremost, we are an auction, not a store! We try our best to make the customer experience a positive one. We post information as accurately as possible about items for sale, knowing that you are buying online and not having an opportunity to see the items in person.
Refunds & Returns are accepted ONLY if the item was not as described (e.g. it was USED, when sold as NEW), or if it is BROKEN.
NOTE: SHIPPING & DELIVERY COSTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! If you choose the shipping option, your item is deemed sold "AS IS" because we have no way to guarantee that the packages will be handled with care once they leave our premises. If this is a concern, contact us about package insurance.
If you are bringing home glass items, or porcelain plates, or mirrors, or anything else that can break, you are advised to check the item at pickup time. Dad's Auction takes care to ensure items are whole, therefore it may be difficult to for the customer to prove where the breakage occured.
If you are purchasing an appliance or electronic item, and it is not working, you must let us know within 48 hours of purchase. We will work with you to resolve the issue.
If you buy an item and don't like the way it looks, or the functionality is not fully how you expected, do not ask for a refund or return. DO YOUR RESEARCH before buying. Most of the items we sell can be found on Amazon and there are usually many customer reviews.
We try to be understanding and work with our customers. However, we also expect our customers to be reasonable.
