This is an incredibly unique auction, and a rare opportunity to own a piece of Harper Kansas history. Rosalea's Hotel actually began as the Patterson House/Hotel back in 1883. In 1968 it was purchased by Rosalea Hostetler, who reopened it as Rosalea's Hotel. Hostetler was a self-proclaimed "hippie", who described her hotel as a "Bible Belt Oasis". Unfortunately in 2015, the hotel was torn down, with many of the contents still inside. Some of those contents that were feared lost have recently been uncovered. And we have the unique privilege of offering them for auction.
