Description |
Abigail is a beautiful High Park that is almost 3 years old. She is a gentle cow to add to add to any home. She just successfully birthed her first calf a beautiful baby bull on July 6 2024. He is rare a color white and grey. She is a first time mom this year and has had no complications.
Abigail is very gentle, she has wonderful maternal instincts, and is such a sweet cow.
She is missing an eye due to getting horned in a trough feeding incident when she was under a year old. It was removed successfully by a vet and it has not affected her in any way. She is dehorned. We bought her when she was four weeks old. Her mom was a beautiful small/mid sized White Park, and dad was a beautiful mid sized red Scottish Highland bull. She was bottle fed and halter, broke very young and has been used in a traveling petting zoo until she got pregnant. She was very easy to breed and had no issues at all during her pregnancy.
She is very easy to catch and loves to be groomed, petted and loved on. She is safe for kids and pets alike.
She will come right to you when her name is called even from our 10 acre field. She is very easy to halter and will stand tied for as long as you need. She is easy to lead anywhere and will jump right on and off trailers with no issues. She has done everything from parades, birthdays at parks/backyards, big festivals and has even been on Fox News for interviews. We’ve have even used her recently to do house Blessings in St Louis where she had to walk through newly purchased homes even while she was pregnant with no hesitation.
Abigail would be a great first cow or make a wonderful addition to any fold. She acts more like a puppy than a cow to be honest. She is a mid sized Highland and very easy to handle.
Her best friend Astoria is another Scottish Highland. They grew up together and have done events together since they were young. They even got pregnant together by the same Scottish Highland bull Bubba. They had their babies on the same exact day just 2 hours apart. They have both been coparenting and share the motherly duties of cleaning and feeding their calves. It is pretty special to see. It would be amazing if they would go to the same home. Look for her in the sale. Abigail’s calf is adorable and such a rare color. He is white with light grey ears, nose and spots. She lets me go in and handle her baby with no problems. She has been an amazing mom and pet. We will miss her.
The last picture is of her new calf to show what beautiful babies she’s capable of.
