Welcome to the Scott Moore Live Public Hay Auction with Online Bidding! The sale will consist of 1023 net wrapped bales of 2024 Prairie Hay and 472 net wrapped bales of 2023 Prairie Hay. The hay was cut with a JD mower conditioner and baled with a JD 569 baler. Stacks were weighed by stack mover and those 297 bales will average 1412 lbs. per bale. Bales in rows have not been weighed but are estimated to be near that same weight. For more information contact Scott at (605) 216-2617. The hay was cut after July 15th. Most of the hay land was cut in 2023 as well. No sloughs or cattails! All of the hayland has been sprayed every third year. The hay is located in 4 different locations: Fields 1-3 near Ipswich, SD & Field 4 near Hosmer, SD. The bales have recently been stacked or put in rows. All hay needs to be picked up by November 17. Seller will keep snow clear until Nov. 1st. All load out is buyer's responsibility. Seller will load for a fee of $2.50 per bale.
