It is the responsibility of the bidder to inspect items before bidding. Any descriptions provided are for informational purposes only and do not guarantee the condition or authenticity of the items. We make it very easy to preview the items & take lots of pictures for online bidders. Any research we do, we may enter it in the description, but it is based on the knowledge we have at hand, it is up to the bidder to verify all information and condition of items prior to bidding. Descriptions may or may not be accurate, as we do a lot of work in preparation, please see the photos provided, that will be the actual item you get. Auction Preview: Items are currently up for preview and preview will end on Saturday September 14th @ 3 PM. Bidding will start on the next day. As we strive to offer you the best experience possible, we kindly ask for your cooperation in making your visit smooth and efficient. Please note that while most lots are available for preview, some are stored, we are more than happy to accommodate your viewing requests. To ensure we can assist you promptly, we recommend compiling a list of items you wish to inspect, as they may not all be on display. In the catalog, any item labeled at the end with a “P-#”, this means the item is stored and not on display. If you would like to see an item for storage, please call 585-319-4534 so we can pull it for you. We ask for 24 to 48 hours notice to accommodate this request. We look forward to assisting you in any way we can to ensure a successful preview experience. Bidding Process: This auction is exclusively conducted online with a soft close for all lots. Bidders have the option to set a 'Max Bid,' which enables the system to place incremental bids on their behalf until the maximum bid is reached. If a lot sells for less than the set Max Bid, the bidder will only be charged the final bid price. Only the auctioneer has access to the 'Max Bid' amounts. When another bidder places a bid, the system will automatically increase your bid to the next increment. Your 'Max Bid' will only be used to outbid others if someone else is actively bidding on the item. Tax Exemption: Tax-exempt bidders must provide a current tax-exempt form before the auction starts. No tax exemptions will be granted without proper documentation and no refunds of tax charges will be refunded if this is not set-up 24 hours to Auction starting time. Payment Methods: Credit card payment only is accepted for this auction. Payment is due upon receipt of settlement, which will be sent via email the night of auction close. If settlement is not received by the following morning, please contact us immediately. Buyer's Premium: A buyer's premium of 10% will be added to the final bid price. This is to help cover the expenses of the auction. We try to provide as many pictures as possible, and have convenient flexible policies for preview, pick-up, and shipping the auction items! Sales Tax: A sales tax rate of 8% will be applied to all purchases, unless a valid Tax Exemption Certificate & all Documents needed are submitted 24h hours prior to start of Auction. If it is not approved prior, no Sales Tax will be refunded. Payment Options: Please see payment options via credit card at the end of the auction. All registered cards will be batched after closing of the last auction item. This will be done directly with your registered card on file. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at the provided contact information. After the Auction: Item Pick-Up is available the next business day after the auction. All items must be paid for prior to leaving our facility. Pick-up Location: Prestige Ship Center, 1029 Lyell Ave, Rochester, NY 14606 Pick-up Time: Monday to Friday: 8 am to 7 pm Saturday: 9 am to 3 pm Storage Policy: Items will be stored free of charge for the first 10 business days. Excluding Sunday. Storage fees will be on the sole determination of Prestige Ship Center. Storage fees will apply after the initial 10 days. Storage Fees: (if you make necessary arrangements & communicate with us about pick-up, storage fees may be waived. (This is at the sole discretion of Prestige Ship Center) $3 per day for items measuring 12-inch cube or smaller. $5 per day for items measuring 12 to 24-inch cube. $8 per day for larger items. $15 per day for items 4’ cube or larger, if it's considered a palletized item. **Items being shipped do not count in this category** Holding Period: Items will be held for a total of 30 days from the date of storage initiation. If items remain unclaimed after this period, they will be forfeited. (if you have been in communication with us and made arrangements or effort, this will not apply) Packing and Shipping Charges: Basic Packing & Shipping for all items: For all shipped items, charges for packing and shipping will apply. All items will be meticulously packed using appropriate shipping supplies to ensure safe transit from point A to B. Basic carrier insurance is included, and any issues must be addressed directly with the carrier. All shipping issues for basic packing and shipping will need to be taken up with the carrier, by the purchaser. These rates are heavily discounted, and we often forgo supplies & labor charges. If you would like an idea of shipping to your location, give us a call and we would be happy to run some numbers for you! Additional insurance for your item is available at an extra cost, ensuring a 100% guarantee of safe arrival, regardless of carrier handling.In case of issues, we will handle communication with the carrier used to secure your claim. Insurance pricing is determined prior to shipping, specific to each item and its purchase price. Shipping Costs: Basic Shipping costs will default to the lowest-cost shipping rate, unless otherwise specified by the buyer within 24 hours after the auction ends. Expedited shipping upgrades are available, and additional costs can be quoted after your purchase. Packing Charges: If you purchase shipping through us, packing is billed based on the supplies used. You will incur no time or labor costs for packing, unless you are using your own shipping label. If you plan on using your own provided shipping label, please let us know within 24 hours after the auction closes. Multiple Purchases: If you have purchased multiple lots, we will consolidate all items for most efficient packaging and shipping costs. If you want to have it sent in a specific manner or multiple addresses, please call the office to coordinate within 24 hours after auction ends to assure we do not duplicate any efforts. Bidder Provided Labels: If you provide your own shipping label, charges will include supplies, time, and labor. Once packing is concluded for self-provided labels, we will coordinate with you on all necessary shipping dimensions and information. You can provide us with a USPS, FedEx, or UPS label. Once Packaging is settled, your item will leave with the next carrier pick-up. Insurance & Issues are solely on the buyer providing the label. You must handle all issues with the carrier or insurance company. We take no responsibility for anything that happens to your package while in transit or before it reaches you. Shipping Timeline: All items being shipped will be packed and prepared within 5 to 10 days of the auction close, striving for a goal of timely shipment. This is a goal, and no guarantee is provided on preparing your items for going out. It could take longer or be sooner. Expedited shipping options prioritize the packing process to get your item out the door as quickly as possible. Glass Items: Items containing glass automatically require double boxing and additional cushioning, incurring extra fees for supplies. Most glass items need individual wrapping and packaging, potentially increasing overall costs. International Shipping: Available with the buyer responsible for all additional fees, taxes, and any other charges related to international shipments. We handle all required commercial documents for international shipments, but the buyer covers any additional fees. Freight Shipments: Domestic Freight is available for larger items or large purchases. Palletizing or crating is billed out for all materials, supplies, and labor. We have excellent freight rates and will pass them along to you. If you know an item may require freight or is noted in the description, quotes can be done prior to auction. If you are using your own freight account, Palletizing or crating is still billed for all materials, supplies, and labor. In addition, for your own freight carrier, there will be a loading fee included in this. All freight shipments require insurance included in your price. All freight services provided by and arranged for by the buyer are completely the responsibility of the buyer. We are not responsible for anything damaged, etc if you provide your own carrier. You will need to handle it with them directly. International freight shipments require complete setup by the buyer, including a commercial broker for entry into the destination country. Palletizing or crating services are available, billed for materials, supplies, labor, and time. Upon completion, all dimensions and weight details are provided for the buyer to arrange a successful pick-up. Payment Requirement: All items, packaging, and shipping must be paid for in full before leaving our facility.
