Item/Description: Brass and beveled glass carriage clock with carrying handle. Marked A.I. / France. With key as shown. These small, spring-powered clocks were popular for travel in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Material: Brass, glass Dimensions: Length: 3 1/4"; Width: 2 1/2"; Height: 6" Condition: Currently not in working order. Being sold as is for repair or parts. Face shows discoloration, crazing. The catalog features a large collection of original artwork, fine jewelry, decorative arts, and other unique collectibles from a variety of private estates in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut & Pennsylvania area. Highlights include: artwork by Richard Lin, Emile Galle glass vases, Alphonse Mucha lithograph, Louis Majorelle / Daum Nancy wall sconces, Tiffany jewelry & much more.
Taurus Auctions Policies: 1. All items offered at auction are sold as is, where is, no refunds, no returns and without recourse. All descriptions are based on the opinion of Taurus Auctions. Descriptions including photographs, condition, authenticity, provenance, artist, origin and measurements are believed to be accurate, however, neither Taurus Auctions, the auctioneer nor consignor makes any warranty or representations of any kind to the merchandise being offered. All measurements and weights are approximate. It is the bidders responsibility to confirm all description information on their own. We encourage all potential bidders to preview our items in person. Estimates published, showing both a high and low end range for each item, are of the opinion of Taurus Auctions as to the fair auction value for each item. Taurus Auctions makes no warranties as to finite value for item(s) sold. You as the bidder decide the final price. 6. While many lots are listed without reserve prices, at times, Taurus Auctions or its consignors may assign minimum selling prices to select lots in each auction. Taurus Auctions may execute bids on the behalf of our consignors due to reserve prices. 7. Taurus Auctions reserves the right to refuse admission to our facility, reject any bid or to refuse to acknowledge certain bidders. The highest bidder, whether in the salesroom, absentee, on the telephone or online will be acknowledged and recorded by the auctioneer. 8. No auction lot can be removed from the gallery until payment has been accepted and cleared. Please see our payment, pickup and shipping section for further details. All items won must be paid for within five (5) days or a dispute will be filed and opened. 9. The purchase price payable by the buyer shall be the sum of the final bid plus a buyer's premium of 25% and any applicable taxes. 10. Taurus Auctions is not responsible for items left at our facility for more than fifteen days. Taurus Auctions may also charge a $100 restocking fee for items cataloged. 11. Purchases are subject to 6.625 % New Jersey State sales tax unless you are a registered dealer or re-seller and exempt from state and local sales tax in which case a completed New Jersey resale certificates must be provided to Taurus Auctions Auctions prior to the time of purchase. 12. Taurus Auctions is not liable for damaged or missing items after they are signed out and removed from the gallery. Taurus Auctions is not responsible for or liable for any lots paid for and not picked up within 14 days of auction date. By departing from the pickup site you, or your agent, acknowledges that you have all your items and that you are satisfied with them. No claims are permitted after removing items from the premises, as condition issues cannot be validated once items are released into your possession. Taurus Auctions is open Sunday through Friday 9AM - 6PM for pick up. Call or email for appointment. 13. In providing your credit card information to pay an invoice, you authorize Taurus Auctions to charge the cost of product and/or service to your credit card either through the payment portal or as indicated on signed, paper authorization form. This payment is for goods/ services won at auction and certifies that you are an authorized user of this credit card and that you will not dispute the payment with your credit card company; so long as the transaction corresponds to the terms indicated. By registering to participate and providing credit card information, you are accepting all the responsibility for the transaction to ensure full payment to the merchant and acknowledging that all sales are final. You will inform Taurus Auctions immediately if use of this card is no longer valid. 14. Taurus Auctions is not responsible for purchasers' on-line bidding errors or mishaps. 15.
