Lead 12 YO BAY ROAN MARE *VIDEO*
Description
12 year old bay roan mare. Got her a couple months ago for our 7 year old daughter so my husband could get his spare rope horse back, but she still would rather ride his horse. We used her today to push up and work cows and she did great. We have roped the dummy on her several times and she has roped live once, and she did ok. We also played on the barrels one time. She isn’t mean or crazy. She didn’t like a back cinch when we got her but she seems to be over that now. Stays fat on grass, easy to catch, good feet, barefoot, and was trimmed this past Thursday. She neck reins and hasn’t spooked at anything since she has been here. She is quiet and calm, but NOT advertising her as a kids horse unless the kid is very experienced. Seems to possibly be part gaited. Under 15 hands. She would be a great trail horse or to work cows, with more training she is picking up on roping. She isn’t a bad horse but if my daughter isn’t going to ride her then we don’t need her. Consignor: Hudson Sheldon
