"Bidder Registration and Responsibilities"
By registering with The Cozy Bin Store, The Bidder affirms that all provided information is accurate, complete, and current. The Bidder agrees not to use any device, software, or routine to disrupt or attempt to disrupt the proper functioning of any auction transaction. This auction is exclusively available to individuals who are legally capable of forming binding contracts. In compliance with state laws regarding the age of majority, individuals under 18 years of age are prohibited from bidding or participating in any auctions.
To participate and place bids in this auction event, The Bidder must fully read and accept all Terms and Conditions. By submitting a bid, The Bidder electronically acknowledges and agrees to all the Terms and Conditions outlined in this agreement, without exception. Placing a bid constitutes a legally binding and irrevocable contract with The Cozy Bin Store to purchase the specific item(s) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Once a bid is placed, it is final and cannot be canceled or retracted under any circumstances.
AUTOEXTEND FEATURE: This auction includes an auto-extend feature, also referred to as a "SOFT CLOSE." This means that if a bid is placed within the final minute before an item closes, the bidding time for that item will be extended by an additional 1 minute for each bid placed. You have the opportunity to be the winning bidder as long as you continue to place bids.
Account Security and Liability
The Bidder is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their username and password and for all activities conducted under their account. The Bidder agrees to promptly notify The Cozy Bin Store of any unauthorized use of their username, password, or account, and to log out of their account at the end of each session. The Cozy Bin Store will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from The Bidder’s failure to adhere to this section.
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING A BID. By bidding, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Condition of Items: All items are offered "AS IS, WHERE IS" without any warranties or guarantees, either expressed or implied, from the consignor or The Cozy Bin Store. All sales are final.
2. No Warranties or Guarantees: The Cozy Bin Store makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the descriptions of any items. Descriptions are provided to the best of our ability but do not constitute any guarantee from the consignor or The Cozy Bin Store, Pictures are considered to be part of the description. Returns are not permitted, and buyers must rely entirely on their own inspection and information.
3. Risk: The entire risk regarding the quality, authenticity, and condition of the items rests with the buyer.
4. Inspection: By placing a bid, you confirm that you have inspected the item to your satisfaction.
5. Acceptance of Items: Bidders accept all auction items "WITH ALL FAULTS," whether or not defects are immediately apparent.
6. Loading Responsibility: Loading of items (including furniture, appliances, and any items over 30 lbs) is the buyer's responsibility. The Cozy Bin Store employees will not load or remove your items. If you require assistance, there will be a $20 (cash) surcharge per item payable to the staff who assist. The Cozy Bin Store employees will assist in locating and gathering any small items under 30 lbs.
7. Auction Changes: The seller and/or The Cozy Bin Store reserve the right to withdraw any auction items at any time and/or extend the auction duration. Some items may have a reserve price and will not be sold unless the reserve price is met. The Cozy Bin Store reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
8. Payment Terms: All purchases will incur a Buyer’s Premium, along with applicable sales tax and convenience fee which will be added to all purchases. Successful bidders will receive an email invoice within 24 hours after the auction concludes. Full payment will automatically be processed following the auction close process.
REMOVAL TERMS:
1. Payment and Release: Full payment must be completed before any items are released to the buyer.
2. Removal Deadline: Items must be removed by the specified removal deadline which will be provided in an email after you have won. Bidders are encouraged to confirm pick-up availability with the seller before placing a bid. Pickup is generally limited to normal business hours and does not occur on weekends.
3. Storage Fees: A $10 per day storage fee will be charged for items remaining after the posted removal deadline. This fee must be paid in cash before the items can be removed.
Third Party Shipping and Removal Costs: Once your lot/s are paid for to The Cozy Bin Store IF you instruct us to ship third party then we will deliver your on items to :

Tel # 815.623.7257 Roscoe Pack and Mail will call you to arrange shipping. We use a third party pack and ship company who does charge to pack your items professionally and ensure their safe arrival. Shipping fees are based on size, location, and weight and . PLEASE NOTE that shipping large, bulky, or fragile items can be quite expensive. We do not ship to PO Boxes.
Upon the successful bid, title and risk of loss, damage, or destruction of the purchased item transfers to the buyer. The auctioneer assumes no liability for any damage to or loss of the item after the bid is awarded and the item has left our location.
4. Responsibility for Costs: The buyer assumes full responsibility for all costs related to removal, dismantling, rigging, hauling, loading, and relocation of the items.
5. Abandoned Items: If the won lot is not picked up, or arrangement for pick up is not arranged within 7 days by the lot winner it will be deemed abandoned and may be disposed of. No refunds. The date begins from the day the auction ends. We thrive in communication!
6. Professional Removal: Buyers are responsible for removing items in a professional manner and according to the seller’s schedule and instructions.
