Kitsap County Jr. Livestock Auction
Buyers must register to bid prior to being allowed to bid.
You will need a seperate account for each entity you represent.
Floor prices will be established by packers and will be announced before the start of the sale. Animals will be weighed on Tuesday August 20th, 2024 to determine final sale weight. Animals will be sold by the pound. For example a hog weighing 250# sold for $3.00 (250# x $3.00) will have a total invoice amount of $750.00.
- If you turn your animal your invoice will only be for the support price. The total bid amount minus (final weight x floor price)
-If you keep your animal you will be invoiced for the total bid amount.
Buyers will have to notify the office with your intent to keep or turn the day of the sale. If you are onsite you must notify us in person, online buyers will be contacted by the office immediatley following the auction.
A processor is available to pickup all livestock purchased to be proccessed if you wish to keep your animal. If you wish to take your animals home buyer will be responsible for pickup at the fairgrounds. If you wish to turn your animal and only pay the support price the floor buyer will handle the recieving of your purchased animal.
Animal pickup will be Sunday at the Kitsap County Fair Grounds. Animals must be picked up by evening, Sunday the 25th of August.
Invoices will be sent to the email provided at registration for online buyers. Invoices for online buyers will be sent Monday August the 26th, 2024. Payment is due by September 1st, 2024 to ensure prompt payment to the kids. Onsite buyers are asked and encouraged to pay day of the auction at the conclusion of their buying to ensure prompt payment to kids.
"Add Ons" will not be available through the online auction site but can still be added to kids by contacting the Livestock Auction Committee directly.
