Victorian ladies Girod pocket 1k 15 jewels watch & ribbon with black & red enamel buckles This would have been pinned to a ladies blouse with the watch hanging upside down. She would then be able to lift it up and it would be upright for her to see the time. The pocket watch does not run. The wind up dial is missing and the back case hinge is broken. The case is marked 14k yellow gold

Made by Fitz & Floyd from 1980s to 1986 in an Octagonal design. There are 8 dinner plates and 8 cup and saucers. One dinner plate has a tiny nick on a corner. (See Photo). Otherwise these are in nice condition and they appear to have been barely used if any at all.

Hand blown cobalt blue bowl on a spiral stem that was mold pressed. They are in good condition and are great survivors from the roaring 1920s. They were made by the H.C. Fry Glass Company of Rochester, Pennsylvania which began in 1901 and lasted until the 1930s.

Eleven 1920s Champagne stems by Fry Glass. The have hand blown cobalt blue bowl on a spiral stem that was mold pressed. They are in good condition and are great survivors from the roaring 1920s. They were made by the H.C. Fry Glass Company of Rochester, Pennsylvania which began in 1901 and lasted until the 1930s.

Mid 1700s English walnut Bureau Bookcase. This is a beautiful piece. It does have some sun light fade of the walnut on one side and there are some veneer issue (there is an envelope of sections of veneer that have popped off). But, when some thing is this old it has earned its right to beautifully natural and less perfect.

By Flora Warren Seymour, published in 1929. This copy was Given to Honorable William Wirt Hastings (1866-1938) and was once part of his personal library. "William Wirt Hastings enjoyed life on a farm at Beattie’s Prairie, Indian Territory, and received a degree from the Cherokee National Male Seminary in 1884 before graduating from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, with a law degree in 1889. He came home to Oklahoma to open his law practice in 1889 and was a clerk in each House of the Cherokee National Council as well as serving as Superintendent of Education and U.S. Commissioner to the Cherokee Indians. He was also appointed as National Attorney for the Cherokee Nation from 1907 to 1914 and was active in tribal affairs with the Dawes Commission in Washington, D.C." (Oklahoma Hall of Fame).

One mid century Wassily style chair. The Wassily chair design originates back to 1926 by designer, Marcel Breuer of the Bauhaus design school of Dessau, Germany. It has been wildely produced since the 1950s, first by Gavina and then later by Knoll. Yet, after the patent design date expired, other companies have made their own 'Wassily' styled chairs. This chair has no markings, no labels, and the chrome ends are capped instead of flush. The chair is sturdy, the straps are firm, and the chrome finish is good with some scuffs. The straps are firm but no tears. They appear to be leather, though a hard and stiff. This chair has been kept upstairs in the home which tended to get warm.

Vintage 1970s Diane Von Fierstenberg dress that was made in Italy. This dress does have some staining, possibly due to long term storage. A vintage clothing collector should know how to properly clean it. This antique circa 1930 English Oak barley twist table has two leaf exertions that slide out from under the top. This table is a 'pub' size table which would make a nice breakfast or dinning table for a small space. It can also serve as a nice size end table.

Old hand woven wood Persian carpet rug. It has worn spots, it has old repair work but it has lots of character. It has been gently cleaned.

Six rare water goblets with gold threaded glass over hand blown controlled bubble glass bowl. They were entirely made by hand with a polished pontil on the bottom of their base. These are sometimes mistaken to be by Steuben because they are similar to a goblet designed by Carder for Steuben during the same period. These are of the same quality, as Fry was known for during the 1920s. They were made by the H.C. Fry Glass Company of Rochester, Pennsylvania which began in 1901 and lasted until the 1930s. They are in beautiful condition.

Antique, 1893 edition book, The Life and Times of Honorable William P. Ross of the Cherokee Nation, by Mrs. William P. Ross, Ross (1820-1891) was the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation during the years of 1866-1867 and 1872-1875. He was born to a Scottish father and a mixed-blood Cherokee mother While he was raised in a bilingual home he attended English speaking schools. William Ross attended Princeton University, where he graduated first in his class in 1844. Over the years he served in several different roles in the Cherokee Nation while his uncle had been elected as principal chief. Ross became clerk of the Cherokee Senate in 1843 and he was the founder and editor of the Cherokee Advocate. Later on in life he became the director of the Cherokee Male and Female seminaries as well as serving as Treasurer of the Cherokee Nation. William Ross was chosen to lead the Nation by the National Council on October 19, 1866, and served for several months until the election in 1867. He was later elected to succeed Lewis Downing, and served from 1872 to 1875. After his term ended, Ross retired to Fort Gibson, where he became a merchant and practiced law. He died there on July 20, 1891

1910 First Edition by Emmett Starr. The book was once a part of W. W. Hastings personal library. It is signed W. W. Hastings. Emmet Starr (1870-1930) “Cherokee historian, genealogist, and physician, Emmet Starr was born on December 12, 1870, in present Adair County, Oklahoma, the former Going Snake District, Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory. He was one of five children born to mixed-blood Cherokees Walter Adair and Ruth A. Thornton Starr. Emmet Starr grew up on a farm at Claremore in present Rogers County, Oklahoma, and attended Cherokee public schools. He graduated from the Cherokee Male Seminary at Tahlequah in 1888 and from the Barnes Medical College at St. Louis, Missouri, in 1891. He never married. He began collecting Cherokee documents in the early 1890s. Starr practiced medicine for five years before dedicating himself to the study of Cherokee history. His books included the 1910 publication Cherokees "West," 1794–1839 and his notable History of the Cherokee Indians and Their Legends and Folklore. Published in 1922, the latter remains prized by Cherokee historians and genealogists. Starr was elected in 1901 to serve a two-year term as a Cooweescoowee District representative on the Cherokee National Council. Grant Foreman (1869-1953) Grant Foreman “became one of the foremost historians of Oklahoma. Trained as an attorney at the University of Michigan, he first practiced in Chicago. He came to the Indian Territory in 1899 as a field worker for the Dawes Commission. Through this experience and subsequent legal practice, he developed a thorough knowledge of the Three Forks area and the Indian tribes of eastern Oklahoma. In February 1924 he was elected to the Oklahoma Historical Society Board of Directors.” “A prolific writer, Foreman wrote or edited nineteen books, fifty-two articles, and, in addition, ninety-one feature articles in newspapers around Oklahoma. Five of his books appeared in the University of Oklahoma Press's Civilization of the American Indian Series, which he helped establish with press director Joseph Brandt. Three memorable works have been standards in the field: Indian Removal (1932), Advancing the Frontier (1933), and The Five Civilized Tribes (1934). Another of his great legacies was as a collector of documentary resources. N.D. Dolfi was founded in 1941 by Giovanni Dolfi. 8 dinner plates.

By Tiffin or Fostoria. These are 1920s - 30s water goblets which can be used as wine for today's use. The are hand blown so there are slight differences in their heights. The have gold encrusted bands along the rims and hand painted gold around the bases. There is some loss of the gold trim along the bases for some of the goblets. There are no chips and no cracks

Inscribed '1886 Mary' along with a marker's mark which is worn down some. This is a beautiful ring. Size 7

Circa 1930 tea or beverage cart. Made in England. Glass top insert on the top tray which lifts up. It has cast wheels which are some what worn. The joints are loose but that is an easy fix.

Size 4, most likely by the vintage brand, What-A-Racquet. It does have a stain on the skirt which is less prominent after soaked this dress in Downey and hand washed it. The vintage tennis racket aka racquet is by Regent Triumph wooden racket. We put the out fit and the racket together because lady of this estate was a very active tennis player in the 1970s.
