Hollis Estate Sales is so excited to share this week’s online estate sale with you! This 1952 Midway Hollow home in Dallas, Texas is packed with vintage items including a fabulous mid-century Tulip Table, chrome side tables, desks, chests, lamps, art, and pottery. The homeowner was a Braniff International hostess and traveled extensively from 1961 through 1982. We are very proud to have uniforms in this auction that she wore throughout her 21 year career including many designed by Emilio Pucci and Halston. Braniff hats, scarves, and bags can also be found in these designer collections as well as Braniff memorabilia. The online auction also includes many items she collected in her travels. You’ll also find treasures like a cowhide rug, Henredon bedroom furniture, super cute outdoor seating, and a gently used washer and dryer in this sale. Click the link and register to bid today! Our intention is to describe and photograph the items to the best of our ability and many times rely on information given to us by the consignor. If you have questions or are not sure about the condition of an item in our auction, please do not hesitate to call us at 214.934.4078. We will be happy to help you. Buyers Premium We charge a 15% buyer's premium which will be added to your invoice if you are the winning bidder. Bidding A bid by any person shall be conclusive proof that the bidder has read these conditions of sale and has agreed to be bound by them. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to charge the outstanding invoice balance to the credit card provided upon registration. Failure to honor your bid will result in loss of bidding privileges. Payment Hollis Estate Sales accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We do not accept cash, business or personal checks, or cashier's checks. All credit card payments will be processed by CurrencyPay at the time of auction closing if you are the winning bidder. Authenticity Though all descriptions are believed to be correct, neither auction house nor seller makes any warranties of any kind with respect to the property and in no event shall be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source origin, fitness for a particular purpose, condition, etc. Auction Persons attending preview or auction during removal of goods assume all risks of damage of or loss to person and property and specifically release Hollis Estate Sales from liability. Hollis Estate Sales shall not be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises on which the sale is held including but not limited to personal injury, fire or theft. If foregoing conditions or any other applicable conditions are not complied with, in addition to other remedies available to Hollis Estate Sales by law, including without limitation, the right to hold the purchaser liable for the bid price, Hollis Estate Sales may 1) resell the property publicly or privately, with the purchaser being liable for the payment of any deficiency plus all costs incurred or 2) cancel the sale, retaining all liquidated damages on all payment made by purchaser. In either of those cases, Hollis Estate Sales' commission and all other incidental damages will be charged. Hollis Estate Sales is acting as an agent and agent only and is not responsible for the acts of his or her principals. Item Pick-up Pick up times are firm unless extenuating circumstances warrant (i.e., acts of nature, etc.). All items must be picked up during the published times. Unfortunately, we are not able to store items not picked up. If you fail to pick up your items during the published times, we will charge the credit card you provided at registration and your items will be forfeited. Failure to abide by the pickup times will result in loss of bidding privileges. Please check your invoice for the pick-up address. Governing Law The laws of the state of Texas govern this agreement. Any and all lawsuits must be filed in Dallas County courts and the Northern District of Texas. Indemnification Buyer shall indemnify Hollis Estate Sales against any claims, damages, or liability (including reasonable attorney's fees) as a result of an injury or other harm suffered by any person and stemming from the sale, whether arising before, during, or after the sale. Buyer agrees to indemnify Hollis Estate Sales for any damages or losses. Buyer will not hold Hollis Estate Sales, its owners, affiliates or its employees liable for accidents, injury, theft, or incidents related to purchases. AuctionFlex AuctionFlex sets up each user on this website and collects all user information. Hollis Estate Sales does not have access to user names and passwords. AuctionFlex provides Hollis Estate Sales with user name, contact information and credit card information provided during the registration process. User information will not be sold to any third party advertisers by Hollis Estate Sales.
