.50-70 cal., rifle, s/n 14061, brl length 36", rolling block, good plus condition, Bore has nice shine with good rifling showing only very light pitting in areas. Walnut straight grip stock and forend showing cartouche either side at wrist. Adjustable rear graduated to 4 with fixed front. Having sling swivels, an "S" stamping on left side rear of barrel with a "B" left side of receiver. 3 line roll mark on top of tang with 1st line faint but visible. Original finish has thinned out showing light brown/silver patina throughout & spotted light freckling. Stock shows wear with some small losses and indentations. Steel butt plate shows scattered freckling.
