.69 cal, muzzleloading musket, s/n NSN, brl length 41.5" round, converted percussion , fair condition, left side barrel markings of an eagle head looking right over "US" over "CT" in oval with other proof marks present but not visible, lock marked "Canton" in a vertical arch at rear with Leonard faint but visible along with pitting forward of hammer, having been converted to percussion and the barrel being shortened, walnut straight grip stock shows crack at wrist and left side at lock plate, being iron mounted misssing front barrel band, metal surfaces show brown patina as well as freckling throughout, bore is very dirty lock does not function
