.50 cal, muzzleloading rifle, s/n NSN, brl length 42" octagonal, flintlock, very good plus condition, having relief carved curly maple stock with deer head on left side behind cheek rest, leaf carved sliding wooden patch box cover and light scrott engraving either side at grip cap, brass butt plate and trigger guard having brass grip cap and 2 ramrod pipes with maker engraved brass patch box backing plate, barrel has brown bluing with "W.M. LARGE/J.J.J.J./L" stamping left side rear flat, rifled bore shines bright with double set triggers, ornate rear fixed sight and German silver and brass front, entire rifle shows very little wear
