.38 W.C.F., rifle, s/n 47387, brl length 24" octagonal, lever action, good condition, Manufactured 1894 having walnut smooth straight grip stock nd forend custom stock that has a crack 6.5" from butt with a crack at the wrist having steel band wrap at wrist for reinforcement. Forend shows some losses and indentations. Bluing on barrel and receiver shows thinning and a majority of brown patina throughout with some freckling and light scratches. Full length tube mag. showing blued finish with slight thinning near muzzle and starting to patina to a light brown on the underside as well as on the right side. adjustable rear sight with fixed front. Bore shines. Steel rifle butt plate showing some wear with freckling throughout.
