.30 gov't'-06, s/n 415681, rifle, brl length 24", lever action, very good condition, Manufactured 1925 having Deluxe beautifully figured walnut checkered straight grip stock and schnabel forend. Wood shows almost no wear having steel shotgun style checkered butt plate that shows minor wear. Bore shines bright having adjustable rear sight with fixed front. Blued barrel shows thinning of finish around muzzle with few light scattered scratches and pinpoint pitting mostly front 3rd of barrel. Rear of barrel as well as receiver and lever have a coating of what appears to be dried up gun oil in spots and with cleaner and elbow grease it is removeable. 2 line roll mark left side of barrel and on receiver as well. Tang has standard 3 line model mark. Majority of finish under oil has thinned out with most bluing present on integral mag. as well as lever. There appears to be only a few small handling marks on receiver with no scratches present. 7-4-13
