.257 roberts, s/n 9414, rifle, brl length 24", bolt action, very good condition, Pre War second year production rifle being manufactured in 1937, walnut checkered pistol and foregrip stock with black grip cap and hard rubber butt pad with inletted sling attachment points and swivels having WRAC grip cap and cheek rest, wood shows some handling marks with few light indentations on rest as well as some scattered in spots throughout, Lyman "ALASKAN" scope on Griffin & Howe mount and Lyman WJS rear peep sight, hinged floor plate marked "SUPER GRADE" shows few light scattered scratches, serrated trigger with trigger guard showing thinning of original finish on edges and bottom outside, folding adjustable rear sight with hooded ramp front, bluing on receiver shows very tiny amount of very light freckling right side top under peep mount with very few spots of scattered freckling in some small areas on barrel, finish on barrel is thinning at top just in front of plugged screw holes at the "Winchester" mark, there are also a few very light scattered small surface scratches in some spots, left side of mount is marked ".257 ROBERTS", bore shines 7-3-23
