Lead *Winchester, 1873 nickeled SRC,
Description
.44-40 cal, carbine, s/n 57221, brl length 20" round, lever action, good plus condition, Manufactured 1880 having a lot of original nickel finish throughout with receiver retaining approx. 80%, lever is about 90% with traces on barrel and tube mag. Left side mounted saddle ring with 2 position folding rear sight showing wear and fixed front. Steel carbine butt plate shows no nickel finish with freckling throughout. Bore shines nice and bright. Straight grip stock shows very little wear with forend having light crack at front and wear throughout.
