.32-44 S&W, revolver, s/n 27977, brl length 6.5", single action, excellent condition, Scarce No. 3 target with nickel finish and mother of pear grip panels, top break with round-butt frame having a brass blade front sight that is pinned, serial number is stamped bottom of butt frame as well as on cylinder rear face, 6 shot, nickel finish shows only very minor wear with almost no losses except for a few very tiny tool marks either side of pin above trigger, bore shines bright, wide checkered hammer spur, top rib of barrel reads the 2 line address roll mark with the ending "REISSUE JYLY 25. 1871", this is a fine example of a No. 3 Target in a Scarce .32-44 caliber
