Lot # : 662 - *Colt, 1860 Army revolver with Second Type

revolver, .44 cf, Richards Cartridge Conversion, s/n 194444, brl length 8", single action, very good condition, 1871 date of Manufacture, blade front sight with single line roll mark on top of barrel reading "ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW YORK US AMERICA", all numbers matching revolver with an "S" stamped above barrel for the Stembridge Movie Rental Co., with a "C" left side of frame, a double J with star above left side of walnut grip with star right side, smooth walnut grip panels show small indentations and minor loss right front toe, overall appearance of revolver shows few tool marks, appears to have been completely refinished showing silver grey patina throughout, brass trigger guard, revolver was sold in Sept 2011, Lot #1220 at Rock Island Auction for $3,450, Nice Hollywood Richards conversion
