Terms and Conditions
AUCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
There is a 10% buyer's premium up to $7500.00 per each individual item, buyer's premium over $7500.00 capped @ $750.00.
The buyer is responsible for the $75.00 documentation fee on -all "Titled items". Meridian Equipment performs "Title Purpose Only" transfers. The buyer is ultimately responsible for obtaining the proper registrations, licenses, etc.
All prospective buyers must be at least 18 years old and are required to register with Meridian Equipment Auction prior to bidding. By using the bid number, the bidder acknowledges they have received, read, and understands and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of the auction either on the bidder's agreement or posted at the auction facility.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL UPON AWARD OF ONLINE BID.
PAYMENT: FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE NO LATER THAN 5 PM, WEDNESDAY JANUARY 15, 2025. PAYMENT METHODS INCLUDE CASH, CHECK, WIRE TRANSFER (SUBJECT TO $35 FEE), CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS (SUBJECT TO 4% SURCHAGE). AFTER THE AUCTION CLOSES YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAILED INVOICE IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE INVOICE, PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE ASAP. PAYMENT NOT RECEIVED BY THIS DATE WILL HAVE CREDIT CARDS ON FILE CHARGED SUBJECT TO ALL SURCHARGES
The auction will be conducted by offering the items by lot number, either single lots or groups. Please note some items are sold bid price x quantity for the total price. The bidder with the highest accepted bid price will be the purchaser subject to all additional fees and taxes. All bids are final and non-reversible. The purchaser accepts the lot when the online bid is placed. ALL SALES FINAL.
REMOVAL: ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED NO LATER THAN 4:30 PM, WED JANUARY 22, 2025. REMOVAL HOURS: 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY AND 8:00 AM TO 11:30 AM SATURDAY JANUARY 18th only. CLOSED SUNDAY.
Removal of all items shall be the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Loading assistance is provided as a courtesy; however, purchaser assumes all risk and responsibility for loading and removal of purchases. Auctioneer reserves the right to require proof of adequate insurance coverage from any purchaser items requiring dismantling, rigging or hot cutting. Purchaser agrees to indemnify and save harmless both, consignor and Auctioneer, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and attorneys against any damage caused by the acts of purchaser. All items must be removed from the auction facility within 7 days after the auction date. If for any reason purchaser fails to remove any purchase within the time specified, the purchase shall be deemed abandoned, and Auctioneer at its sole discretion may resell the items. Purchaser shall be liable for any rent incurred or damages suffered by Auctioneer because of purchaser's failure to remove any item. Failure to remove items will result in a rental / storage fee of not less than $25 per item per week
REMOVAL: No purchase may be removed until the conclusion of the auction. Following conclusion of the auction, merchandise purchased must be removed from the premises within the time limits provided. Any merchandise not removed within the time limit shall be deemed to have been abandoned by the purchaser and ownership thereof reverts to the seller.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER: Everything will be sold on an as-basis without any warranty or representation whatsoever. This includes any and all faults as to the merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose. All sales are final. Purchaser agrees to pay all cost of removal and purchaser does hereby indemnify and hold harmless auctioneer and seller for any and all damages, claims or liability for injuries to persons or property caused by the removal of items purchased. The principle, the auctioneer, advertising coordinator or any of their agents make no express or implied warranties of any type.
ADVERTISING DISCLAIMER: All information obtained for items are deemed to be relievable and accurate however not all faults or errors may be known or listed. The principal Meridian Equipment Inc. the Advertising Coordinator, and All their Agents Shall not be responsible for any errors or omissions. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL ITEMS BE THOROUGHLY INSPECTED BEFORE BIDDING.
ONLINE BIDS: Online bidders will not have any claim against Meridian Equipment Inc for any failure to award bids, failure to submit bids and any errors of the bidding platform. It may be possible that the bidding platform shows an item award to a customer: However, we reserve the right to make any corrected included withdrawing bids made in error.
No claim will be considered for allowance or adjustment or for the rescission of any sale based upon failure of the property to correspond with any standard expected.
While quantities, descriptions and capacities are believed to be correct there are no guarantees and the auctioneers, owners and advertising counsel will not be held responsible for any written or verbal discrepancies or inaccuracies whatsoever.
Overages or shortages above or below estimated counts will be adjusted. However, such adjustments must be made before removal of merchandise from the premises.
The Auction reserves the right to group lots, make lots smaller or to add or delete or to change numerical count.
Bidders with poor bidding history will not be allowed to place bids in the auction.

Payment and checkout begins January 13, 2025. If you are mailing a check, please call first. Alternative payments not received or notified by January 15, 2025, will have credit cards on file charged subject to credit card surcharge. It can take up to 3-4 days for all credit cards to be processed. We accept Checks, Cash, and most credit cards. Invoices are sent out via email following the auction typically within 24 hours of auction closing. Please be sure to check the spam/junk folder for invoices. If an emailed invoice is not received by Monday, January 13, 2025 please contact the office and a new invoice can be issued.

Complete payment for all items purchased are due as posted by the auction company. An invoice of items purchased will be emailed to you within 1 day of the close of the entire auction. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE AN INVOICE, PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE 360-398-2141.
Payment methods: Cash, Check, Visa, Master Card, Discover, Amex. Credit/Debit cards have an additional 4% fee. Your invoice will not include this fee, it will be added at the time of payment. NSF Check Fee of $35.00 will be charged and bidding privileges suspended. Wire transfers subject to $35.00 fee.
Unsettled Invoices: Invoice will be charged to credit card provided on registration by the date listed in the auction terms.
Late Payment Notice: Late payments are subject to late fees starting at $25.00.

OFFICE PAYMENT hours will be Monday-Friday 8 AM- 4:30 PM and Saturday Jan. 18th ONLY 8 AM- 11:30 AM: LOADOUT ASSISTANCE HOURS- M-F 8-4:00 and Jan. 18th 8:00 to 11:30 only. Please respect our hours: We are a small family run business and hire additional part time help for loadout. Please be in our facility by 4:00 so we can get you loaded safely and efficiently.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and pickup. Limited shipping is available with pre approval.
Please give adequate time for pickup, facility closes at 4:30 PM PST and staff leaves at that time, If you show up @ 4:20 with multiple pages of items to pickup you will be turned away.
Pickup of large and extra handling items require appointments for pickup.
We are here to assist you with staff and equipment to load your purchases during the pickup dates listed, but the buyer is responsible for any supplies needed to haul and secure the load safely. If Meridian Equipment Staff deems the load unstable, unsecure and/or unsafe in any manner we will not load you. Please do your due diligence prior to bidding. Pickup or other arrangements must be made within 14 Days. If you cannot come within 14 days, please call us at 360-398-2141 and make other arrangements. After 14 days, you will be charged $25.00/week if no arrangements for pickup have been made. Items left after 30 days will be forfeited become property of Meridian Equipment Inc and will be sold or disposed of for storage fees.
If you purchased titled vehicles please come into Meridian Equipment Co., Inc. at 5946 Guide Meridian Bellingham, WA 98226, if you are out of the area, please call 360-398-2141 to make title transfer arrangements.
