Whetstone Knife Sharpening Stone, 2-Sided 400/1000 Grit Knife Sharpener, Trilancer Japanese Style Waterstone Kit, Angle Guide and Rubber Base Included ------------------------------ -400 GRIT SIDE- This is the coarse grit side, ideally used for repairing your dull or damaged tools. If your tool is dull, your sharpening process will start with this side. Keep in mind, while sharpening, that the stone will continue to require water for lubrication and care of the stone. -1000 GRIT SIDE- After a repair with the 400 grit side, the 1000 grit side will hone the tool to a sharp edge. The resulting sharpness will be adequate for any common kitchen tasks, or daily usage. -SUPERIOR BUNDLE- Along with this stone, you will get all you need for a professional sharpening, including a rubber base that holds your stone safely during sharpening, an angle guide that will assist new users to find the correct sharpening angle, and a user manual that will inform you of the optimal way to get results from the stone . -MULTI-PURPOSE USE- Measuring at 18cm x 6cm x 3cm, the Trilancer whetstone is suitable for a wide range of blades including kitchen knives, hunting knives, pocket knives, scissors, chisels, razors, hatchets, axes, as well as carving and gardening tools– with the only exceptions being serrated and ceramic blades.
