AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS
• REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION: At the time of registration, Hibid platform collects information about you to verify who you are before you can bid. We collect credit card information to ensure that you are a qualified buyer. All Bidders must be of legal age to bid.
• PAYING FOR YOUR PURCHASES: There is no cost to register for an auction. If you are the successful Bidder, you must attend during the allotted pick-up time frame where you may pay cash, e-transfer, Debit, Visa or MasterCard. All items must be paid for at or prior to pickup. Card used to register is not automatically charged, Payment can be made by E-Transfer, Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard.
• Payments must be made 24 hours after the auction closes. If there is an issue or payment is declined online, please contact us to arrange payment in person, if you do not contact us in advance, the item will be listed as abandoned. Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Debit or cash online. E-Transfer option is also available, the email for this option is support@auctionary.ca
• CREDIT CARD – For first. Credit card charges greater than $2,000 buyers must pay with intrerac e-transfer, cash, certified cheque or wire transfer. A surcharge fee of 3% will be charged for qualified buyers over $2,000 who wish to make a credit card payment.
• BIDDERS PREMIUM: A 15% Buyers premium is in effect for this auction on all purchases.
• Please pay for your auction lots. Auctionary Canada will take the necessary legal steps to protect its interests. Non-paying bidders will be blocked from all future auction participation.
• SOFT CLOSE is a bidding term that allows Bidders extra time to submit a bid. As the time runs down on an item soon to close and if a Bidder submits a bid in the last minutes of the sale on an item, SOFT CLOSE extends the Bid time an additional 60 seconds only on that item. As long as someone continues to bid on that item, the time period will continue to be extended. The time period eventually runs out when bidding ceases. The purpose of a soft close is to allow everyone a fair chance to submit a bid.
• REFUND POLICY: All Sales are FINAL, Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase. No claims regarding goods purchased will be allowed. NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES. All items sold "AS IS WHERE IS" with all faults.
• In a situation where an item is listed in error or cannot be located during pickup for any reason, the bidder acknowledges that their sole recourse is a full refund for the specific item.
• All descriptions are believed accurate but not guaranteed. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinable factor. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value
• While we strive to accurately represent and describe all items through detailed information and photographs, it's important to note that all items are sold on an 'as is' basis, with all faults.
• We shall not be held responsible for advertising discrepancies or inaccuracies.
• ADDITIONS & DELETIONS: We reserve the right to remove and/or add lots and/or items to the sale at any point before or during the auction.
• PICK UP TIMES: Successful bidders will be sent an invoice with the address and the link to schedule pick up time for your lots.
• SHIPPING: No Shipping but contact us at support@auctionary and special arrangements can be made.
• Under no circumstances shall a Bidder have any kind of claim against Auctionary Canada or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly during online auction. Purchaser does hereby indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims or liabilities from injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the sale or by the removal or shipping of items purchased.
• We reserve the right to reject any bid at our sole discretion.
• HST 13% applies to all items
