Description

1 – On Site Auctions operates strictly as an agent for the seller. Unless stated otherwise we do not own the equipment being auctioned. 2- For payment we accept Cash, Visa, Master card, Debit, e-transfer, wire transfer (small fee may apply), credit card payments are subject to a 3% fee. All items must be paid for within 2 days of auction closing. Unless arrangements are made prior to sale closing, all items to be picked within 2 days of sale closing. A buyers premium of 8% will be added to all items won at the auction. 3- Unless special arrangements are made prior to sale closing, any items not paid for within 3 days of sale closing will (at the auctioneers discretion) become the property of the auction and may be resold without reserve. Any deficiency will be charged to the original purchaser. Storage charges will be assessed to the purchaser on all purchases not picked up within 3 days of sale closing. 4 – All buyers shall inspect each item to satisfy themselves as to condition , measurements, fitness of the item. Once an item has been sold by the auctioneer no objections will be permitted and the item immediately becomes the property of the winning bidder. On Site Auctions will not be held responsible for any theft or damages to the item before pickup. The auction may assist with loading an item however we reserve the right to decline to load an item if a proper transport vehicle is not supplied. Any damages that may occur during such loading will be at the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Proper tie down equipment must be supplied by the purchaser. On Site Auctions reserves the right to refuse to load any item that in its opinion is dangerous and poses a hazard if loaded. 5 – Any liens or encumbrances found registered against the items being sold will be paid out and a copy of a release shall be provided to the buyer within 2 years. In the event that clear title cannot be given for the goods sold the auction shall refund to the purchaser an amount not to exceed the original purchase price provided the item is returned in a condition that is equal to or better than at time of sale. 6 – All items are sold on an “as is, where is” basis and no warrantee or guarantee shall be honoured by the the auction. Any warrantee or guarantee offered by the seller of the item shall be strictly between the buyer and seller and will in no way shall the auction be considered liable. 7- The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and in case of a dispute the auctioneer shall review the situation and make a decision which shall be final. In case of the auctioneer declaring an item “sold” and more than one bidder claims to have the winning bid the auctioneer may declare who the winning bidder was or re-open the bidding. In every case, the auctioneers final decision shall be considered final and binding for both parties.

All items must be paid for in full before they leave the lot. You may send a driver to pick up your items, as long as the name of the company is provided and they have a copy of the invoice.
