HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT - The buyers hereby indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims or liabilities from any injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the sale or during the removal of the items purchased. Buyers remove purchases at their own risk. Buyer's should arrange for professional de-installation of wired, plumbed or built-in items. Many pieces of equipment have potential hazards and should be de-installed and moved by professionals with proper equipment.
REFUNDS AND ADJUSTMENTS - Absolutely no adjustments, claims or refunds will be allowed after the item(s) are removed from the auction site. ANY CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WHILE THE ITEMS ARE ON THE AUCTION PREMISES. In no event will auctioneer's or seller's liability to buyer ever exceed the purchase price paid.
BUYER'S PREMIUM - The expenses of conducting the auction are shared between the seller and buyer. The buyer's expense is called a BUYER'S PREMIUM and is set at 18.50%
NC SALES TAX - We are now required to collect 6.75% sales tax on every item we sell..
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PROCESSING FEE -
SELLING TIMES THE MONEY - If there is a small box in the corner of the picture with an "x" and "number", then you are bidding one unit and your bid will be multiplied by the number of units.
REMOVAL SELECTION - If we sell multiple like items to more than one buyer, selection will be on a first come basis. (Example: If we sell dining chairs to more than one buyer, then the first buyer to show up to get their items, will get the first selection. If you are late getting there, you will choose from what is remaining.)
REMOVAL PERIOD - The scheduled removal time will be printed on the bottom of your invoice. We do not provide manpower, tools, or equipment. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN. Any item remaining after the SCHEDULED REMOVAL PERIOD is subject to be considered ABANDONED, with no refund or recourse to the buyer.
RESERVE PRICES - The seller reserves the right to set a minimum acceptable price on any item in the auction. The seller authorizes DJAuction to bid for the seller up to, but not above this reserve price. This notice within the terms and conditions meets the laws governing auctioneers and does not violate any law within the state of NC.
