45 Long colt caliber. This is the 3rd generation SAA manufactured in 1987 and grades 95% to 98% with only slight bluing wear to the crown of the barrel and cylinder edges. The 3rd generation SAA's with SA prefixes were manufactured between 1978 and 1993 with no annual numbers, so the manufacture date is an estimate. This gun is the most popular barrel length and caliber and comes with a high quality Bianchi model 1880 "Cheyenne" holster and belt rig custom fit for John Ascuaga. This is a One of a Kind piece of History that will come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Daughter and Ascuaga Family Trust, Trustee Michonne Ascuaga and the FFL dealer handling the firearms of the Asquaga Estate.
