Networking gear, in a nutshell, helps you connect your PC, Mac, laptop, and countless other devices to the internet. They do this wirelessly over Wi-Fi, through a network cable (Ethernet), or both. Starting with devices closest to your computer, an adapter adds wireless or wired networking capability your system didn’t come with, or to add support for higher speeds or replace a broken part. A router connects your computers to a modem for your internet service, whether you connect via fiber optic cable, a cable provided by a TV cable company, satellite dish, or any other type. Popular router manufacturers include Asus, D-Link, Linksys, Netgear, and TP-Link to name a few. If you don’t spot the new or used networking device you need in HiBid.com’s auction items, try back later, as new devices come up for sale regularly.
