3. Auction Company is not liable for errors or ommisions in listing.
4. Non paying bidders will be held liable for all charges to collect funds, and/or dispose of property purchased.
5. Auction Company reserves the right to demand specific forms of payment for any Item from any bidder. (i.e) cash and/or certified funds for specific items prior to shipping or delivery. Buyers shall be prepared to pay with funds specified by auction company at end of sale
6. Please be sure your card and information is accurate and up-to-date in HiBid. Recent software changes make it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to take credit card information over the phone. Your card on file will be billed for any won items shortly after the auction closes unless you leave us a note at registration that you prefer to pay cash at pickup.
7. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. IT IS THE BIDDER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE CONDITION, AGE, VALUE, OR OTHER DETERMINATIVE FACTORS.
Online bidders acknowledge they may not be able to inspect items as well as if they examined them in person. Bidders agree everything is sold as-is and no returns are accepted.
Under no circumstances shall bidders have any claims against Average Joe's Auction Co., LLC or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly during this timed auction. Average Joe's Auction Co., LLC is not responsible for missed bids from any source.
Dealers who wish to be tax exempt must fill out and sign a Nebraska Form 13 and email to Average Joe's Auction Co., LLC at averagejoesauctions1@gmail.com prior to the conclusion of the auction. Notice of tax-exempt status is required on HiBid in the notes section. NO EXCEPTIONS.
LOCAL PICK UP IS FREE. ALL BUYERS MUST PICK UP ITEMS ON THE SCHEDULED PICK-UP DAY, OR CONTACT AVERAGE JOE'S FOR ALTERNATE ARRANGEMENTS. We can usually facilitate alternate pick-up, but not always.
We have started using SHIPPING SAINT to facilitate our shipping. Buyers who require shipping will receive text and email updates from AVERAGE JOES/SHIPPING SAINT with status, cost, and other information. Please watch for these messages.
We try our best to keep shipping costs in line. We will carefully and economically pack items and you will receive an invoice from Shipping Saint. Typical shipping includes a start of $3.00, plus cost of materials. We do try to reuse boxes when possible. Packing costs reflect the time required to pull, pack, print labels, etc. We choose the cheapest delivery service unless customer requests a specific method. Media Mail will be used on eligible items. However, keep in mind that shipping, especially on large or heavy items, can be costly. By request we can recommend shippers for large items.
Also, please keep in mind that we are NOT Amazon. We do all shipping in house. It takes us a few days FOLLOWING LOCAL PICKUP to prepare and ship items. Please allow 5-10 days following local pickup for us to get your items on their way to you.
Average Joe's is not responsible for damage during shipping. Shipping Saint will handle all claims regarding damaged packages. Let us know and we will send you a link to file a damage claim.
Shipping invoices not paid within 10 days of invoice will be considered ABANDONED and will be re-allotted to the auction or otherwise disposed of. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE ON ABANDONED ITEMS.
