NOVEMBER 2024 COLLECTIBLE TOBACCO TINS ONLINE AUCTION November 10-17, 2024 Bidding opens: Sunday, November 10 @ 12:00pm (noon) Eastern Bidding begins to close: Sunday, November 17 @ 6pm Eastern This auction features an eclectic collection of cigarette, cigar, chewing tobacco, and snuff tins was gathered by a local couple whose families who have been growing tobacco in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts for over 100 years. Over the past 45 years, they scoured flea markets, antique shops, and auctions, buying all the tins they could find. The tins were originally used for advertising and distribution of all kinds of domestic and international tobacco products (including some old and rare brands, such as Twin Oaks, Three Nuns, Skallorna, Old English; Old Chum, Big Ben, Blue Boar, Prince Albert, Burley and Bright, Borkum Riff, Velvet, Vogue, Black Cat, Middletons, Little Mozart, Edgeworth, and more). Some are a little tired and worn, but all are fascinating remnants of the tobacco heritage of New England and the world. Please look at the photos carefully to check the condition and blemishes on each tin before bidding. All lots are sold as is. No returns or refunds."
Terms of sale: Each item for sale is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. All sales are final. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS. Items in this auction are from a local estates; all have been pre-used and may contain wear or defects consistent with previous us and long storage. We have made every attempt to describe each item as accurately as possible. We are not responsible for errors or omissions in the descriptions. Before bidding, you should also verify the accuracy of the listed item descriptions and inspect the condition of listed items. If you have questions, we will answer them to the best of our ability and provide additional photographs of lots upon request. Live previews are available the Saturday and Sunday before the auction closes by appointment. A 15% Buyer’s Premium is applied to all purchases. 6.25% MA sales tax. Tax exempt buyers must provide their resale certificate/tax exempt number when obtaining a bidder’s number. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars. Online payment options are available upon request. The auction house reserves the right to request proof of identity and/or to request payment by wire transfer for buyers who do not have a previous payment history. Complete payment is required within seven (7) days after the conclusion of the auction. Raucher Brothers Auctioneers reserves the right to hold items or titles to items until funds clear. Winning bidders must arrange to remove items from the pickup location at time of payment. The Auction House reserves the right to request proof of identity from winning bidders to complete payment transactions. Items not paid for and picked up or shipped within 7 days after auction will be deemed abandoned and those lots will be offered to the underbidder(s). Bidders who abandon lots may receive a “bad bidder” rating that may affect their ability to bid in future auctions. Pickup/Shipping: Auction purchases should be paid for as soon after the auction as possible, but they must be paid in full within 7 days. Items can be picked up on Tuesday & Wednesday, November 19 & 20 10am-5pm at the auction hall at 140 Pine Street, Florence, MA. Third-party shipping is available for most lots; buyers are responsible for coordinating payment and delivery arrangements with the shipper. WE WILL ONLY SHIP ITEMS TO THE ADDRESS USED TO REGISTER FOR THE AUCTION.

Payment Terms
Payment must be made in U.S. dollars within seven (7) days of conclusion of the auction. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards. Online payment options are available upon request. The Auction House reserves the right to request proof of identity from winning bidders to complete payment transactions. If a winning bidder does not have a previous payment history with Raucher Brothers Auctioneer, we reserve the right to require payment in cash or by wire transfer. Items picked up or shipping arranged within 7 days after the conclusion of the auction. Items will not be transferred to the shipper until payment has been received. Items that are not paid for or picked up within 7 days will be deemed abandoned, and those lots will be offered to the underbidder(s). Bidders who abandon lots may receive a "bad bidder" rating that may affect their ability to bid in future auctions. Buyers are responsible for disassembly and removal.
Third-party shipping is available. We will deliver lots to the shipper, but buyers are responsible for coordinating payment and delivery arrangements directly with the shipper. All lots must be paid in full before items are removed or shipped. The auction house reserves the right to hold items until funds clear, to request proof of identification, or to require payment in cash or by wire transfer for buyers who do not have a previous payment history. Arrangements to remove items from the auction location must be made on the day of the live auction. Buyers are responsible for dissasembly and removal. For lots that require shipping, we will deliver the item to our third-party shipper, but the buyer is responsible for contacting the shipper to arrange payment and delivery ALL purchases MUST be picked up within SEVEN (7) DAYS of the conclusion of the auction of they will be deemed to be abandoned.
