This remarkable auction features hundreds of beautiful, rare, and exotic items from the Estate of Susan Jennifer MacDonald of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, as well as a small curated selection of high-end items contributed by other private consignors. Susan was an independent and well-travelled woman with excellent taste, as well as an avid and discerning collector. She amassed an impressive collection of art and antiques during her fascinating career as an international trade representative for the Government of Ontario (which included diplomatic postings in Singapore, Los Angeles, and Chicago) and as a personal wealth advisor for the Bank of Montreal. Her extensive travels and international connections provided a unique opportunity to acquire exceptional items from afar, and her collection reflects a fondness for Asian art and antiques in particular. On the day that Susan moved to Summerside, her belongings filled three full moving vans and a smaller truck. When Moe's Auction House was engaged to hold an auction on behalf of her estate, we found her home full of unopened boxes that had remained where they were placed by the movers eight years ago. We didn't know what treasures Susan had accumulated until we started unpacking the boxes, and we were amazed at what we discovered. This is a collection that you'll have to see to believe!

These items are offered for sale to the public on our website for a fixed period of time with a defined closing date and time. To register you simply sign up for an account on our secure website. Your information is validated and then you may begin placing your bids! HOW DO I REGISTER? At the top of your screen, click "Login/New Bidder." If you are a new bidder, click the black box. This will prompt you to enter your email address. You will be emailed a link to validate your email, and then you can finish your registration. It's fast, easy and secure. The whole process takes about 2 minutes. Your credit card will be validated by and in doing so, a temporary hold of $1 will be placed on your account to ensure the credit card is valid, and that only legitimate bidders are participating. This process is exactly like paying for gas at the pump! The charge will fall off of your account in 24-48 hours. HOW DOES THE AUCTION WORK? The auction is open for bidding as soon as it goes "LIVE" online. Bidding is super easy, at any time you can begin placing your bids and may enter a maximum bid. EXAMPLE: LOT #! - $5 Minimum Bid with no prior bids You can choose to bid $5 on this lot and you would be the high bidder. If someone bids $6, you would then be outbid. If you had placed a maximum bid of $10, and the other person had bid $6, you would automatically outbid the new bid, and would be the high bidder at $7 WHERE DO YOU GET ALL THIS STUFF?
