Checkout Date/Time Following the close of the sale, you can expect a call from our office to collect payment. At this time, we will schedule pickup time with you. Pickup or shipping arrangements must be made no later than 7 calendar days after the close of the auction. Any items not picked up within this time frame will be charged a $5 per item per day storage fee. Once storage fees exceed the purchase price, or after 30 days (whatever comes first), items will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of. In other words, please pick up your items in a timely manner. We will be following NYS guidelines: observing proper social distancing and wearing protective masks, we expect that you do the same. Payments can be made over the phone by credit card or in person upon pickup.

At the discretion of Mapes Auctioneers & Appraisers, any large invoice may be required to be paid by cash, postal money order, cashier’s check or wire transfer following the close of the auction. There is a 15% buyers premium in effect for this auction. Please also be aware of whether or not New York State tax is applicable to you when bidding.
PICK UP - Purchases must be picked up at Mapes Auctioneers & Appraisers- located at 1729 Vestal Pkwy. W. Vestal, NY 13850. It is YOUR responsibility to make pickup arrangements with us following the close of the auction. Pickup must be made by appointment no later than 7 calendar days after the close of the auction.
