Your bid is an offer to buy an item at the price of your bid and, if accepted, is a contractual obligation on your behalf to buy the item and also to abide by these terms of sale, including payment and removal of items from the auction site.
Credit or Debit cards used for auction registration and on file with HiBid will be charged per these terms of sale if another accepted form of payment is not provided for the buyer's accepted bids along with buyer's premium, shipping charges, and sales tax if applicable within 48 hours of the buyer's items closing for bids. Items are closed for bids at the time the website www.henykat.hibid.com is not accepting further bids for the item.
Items are offered for sale "as is" and "where is". The principle of caveat emptor applies except where expressly excluded by operation of law. HenyKat does not make or give any guarantee, warranty or representation or undertake any duty of care in relation to the description, illustrations or photographs of any item, including condition, quality, provenance, authenticity, background, style, period, age, origin, value and estimated selling price. Bidder inspection is encouraged. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them.
The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid at his sole discretion.
The buyer is responsible for all labor and materials to remove items purchased from the auction site unless they are having their items shipped.
The Auctioneer, Hendrik van Dorp, III and any employees of Hendrik van Dorp, III may bid on any item in the sale. The Auctioneer, Hendrik van Dorp, III reserves the liberty to bid up to the reserve on behalf of the seller.
Payment for all items is due in U.S. dollars via cash, good check or major credit card before removal of any items from the auction site. A 13% buyer's premium will be added to all sales transactions with a 3% discount for cash transactions as well as any applicable sales tax. All items purchased must be removed at the auction location within 48 hours of receiving an invoice delivered either by hand or email or at another time agreed to by the Auctioneer.
Items that can be shipped are labeled as having shipping available on the detail page of that item. Only items with this label can be shipped. If you require shipping, you must notify us via phone or email within 24 hours of receiving your unpaid invoice by email if you have not left a notice to the auctioneer during registration. Payment for your items, buyer’s premium, shipping and any applicable taxes will be charged to the card on file with Hibid.com. Your items will be shipped within 3 business days of receiving payment. Shipping charges are the least expensive postage to ship via USPS rounded up to the nearest whole dollar plus $5.00 per package shipped. Items will be combined into as few packages as possible. All shipments are insured for the full payment amount and it is the buyer's responsibility to make claims for any damages that occur during shipping with the U.S. Postal Service.

Failure to abide by these terms may include abandonment of the items for which your bid was accepted or storage charges.
