DOB-1/21
FURY X FURY X GUESS WHAT
In the year that all Tamworth breeders knew that we needed an outcross from the what I call the "Z-word" We went and lined up a gilt that has to of won the most banners of any Tamworth in history. Call us crazy, but we feel the plan worked. First off some history on the gilt that just kept on winning. Alej was named after our Son/Brother who passed away at 15. Levi Alejandro Montoya. The Kozarec family who are long time friends (we call family) had been to our barn and knew she was different. Green as can be but had the best disposition of any pig we have ever known. Then 10 days prior to the Shaffer Appreciation Sale and Sift she decided to turn it on. This was a defining monent in this sows life. She ended up Reserve Champion to what was the Supreme Champion of the sift. (BTW we raised that one as well) The Kozarecs where not to concerned with that as much as they knew she had a disposition of a showmanship pig. There son Kace had won 2019 OSF session 1 Showmanship with a Tam felt that tams best fit his style. They wher not wrong. Alej went on to win OH-Pigs overall tamworth, Reserve Tamworth OYLE, had a Champion banner everyweekend she showed, First in her class at Tam Nationals (FYI 8 months old), but MOST importantly kept him in the top 5 in his age for showmanship every weekend. So back to the plan. How do we repeat the disposition while keeping style and comfort. Come visit this litter they are just SHOW PIGS.
The 3-1 barrow is the stoutest made pig in the litter. He is going to have a crinkle ear. It should only add to his character.
