Conditions Of Sale
All sales are final and all property is sold “As is, Where is.” It is the bidder’s responsibility to determine condition and usefulness of the items purchased. We attempt to describe all these items to try to give you a visual of the item you are bidding on. We describe them to the best of our ability and many times rely on information from the consignor that is given to us. Electronic items with standard power cord may be tested for power only, but no further tests are made unless otherwise noted in lot description. We do not offer warranties or refunds.
Bidding
By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them and accepts responsibility to pay for winning bids. If you bid and do not pick up/pay you risk losing bidding privileges. We reserve the right to reject any bid at our sole discretion. If you do choose to bid and fail to pick up your items during the published times, your items will be forfeited.
Authenticity
Though all descriptions are believed to be correct, neither auction house nor seller makes any warranties of any kind with respect to the property and in no event shall be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source origin, fitness for a particular purpose, condition etc.
Buyers Premium
We charge a 15% buyers premium.
Payment/Pickup
Invoice payment is due on published pickup date. If you are unable to make it to pick up your items on pickup day, you may reschedule pickup for a fee. There will be a $10 rescheduling fee plus a $5 per day storage charge until items are picked up. Items not picked up by Friday after auction will be considered forfeited and will be re-auctioned. We will not hold items if invoice remains unpaid. Texas state and local taxes are applied. Please provide Resale/Tax exempt certificate if required.
Shipping
Auction invoice is due on pickup day. Please email jamie@workmanauctionhouse.com to confirm you would like your order shipped and confirm the shipping address. You will receive an additional shipping invoice within a few days following auction once rate has been calculated. A handling fee will apply to all shipments. All packages will be insured, and packages valued over $150 will require signature confirmation. We ship via USPS and UPS.
