Estate of Betty Purvis is an online auction to settle the estate for the Purvis family. Walt Cade Auctions has been contracted to liquidate the contents of this immaculate smoke free home. Back in the 80's she owned & operated the "Peach Tree Antique Gallery" Store in Odessa, Tx, a premier collectable store representing amazing collections. She later moved to Marshall, Tx and moved many of her treasures to her home.

Payment: Cash or Credit Card on site with a 3% discount for cash. Any invoice not settled by 4pm day after auction close will have a hold or charged placed on card on file. Cash, Wire, or Cashier's Check is also required for all invoice totals over $500. Gold Silver Coins and Diamonds require cash, cashiers check, or wire only.
Wire: All wires must be received timely and actually show up in our account. No invoice discount on wire transfers.
Auction Method: Online
Preview: Fri before auction close by Appointment only (Call Amanda 903-238-6185 for appt)
Bidding Period: thru ____Oct 25____ - Begin to close at 7pm (Soft Close)
Soft Close: We use a soft close method of closing. If any bid is within the last 3 minutes of auction close, bidding on that lot will be extended by 3 minutes.
Pickup: day after auction closes from 10-4Pm. The property is being sold and must be vacated timely.
Buyers Premium: 15% with a 3% Discount for Cash
Declined Cards: There is a $35 service fee that will be assessed for any credit card that is declined for a purchase.
Large Invoices: Auction company, at it's option may elect to charge a deposit to a credit card and balance to be paid via Cash or Cashier's Check, and or place a hold on your card, with full amount to be paid in cash.
Loading: We do not have loading assistance available. If you have items that need machinery, please bring adequate equipment. Please bring your own boxes and packing material. Many lots are packed by us for space limitations. We recommend you carefully REPACK on site any boxed items.
Condition: You are buying As is, Where is. Unless otherwise specified, we have not tested any items. In addition if you buy an item "With Contents" You must take all the contents. Failure to do so will result in disposal fees to your account with us. No warranty express or implied is offered.
Warranty: Many items are Untested Returns, therefore there is No Warranty, No Returns, No Refunds, No Exceptions.
Shipping: Please understand shipping heavy items can be expensive. Breakage may be a possibility. No shipping on Furniture.. Some large collections might not be available for shipping.
Sales Tax and Farm Exemption: Please forward in advance sales tax exemption information, go to www.WaltCadeAuctions.com/salestax.htm . Farm Exemptions will not be accepted for non farm related items. No exemptions will be accepted after auction close. No exemptions accepted on pickup day.
Unclaimed Items: After pickup day, will accrue a $1 per day per lot storage fee.
Technology Issues: Bidders should be warned not to wait until the last minute to bid. We have no control over Internet and Technology Issues, and Walt Cade Auctions is not responsible for any issues arising from such problems. We reserve the right to "pause" any online auction in such cases of an outage or systems go down wthout notice as such decisions may be made on a moments notice.
