Bradberry Family Foundation / Estate - Art, Antiquities, Antique & Mid-Century Furniture & Collectibles
This unique sale is on behalf of the Bradberry Family Foundation and the Bradberry Personal Estate. The foundation is offering over 30 pieces of original artwork and bronzes designated by the Family to support the Foundation’s charitable work. The Personal Estate is offering hundreds of additional items. Available are many original paintings, sculptures, bronzes, Ming & Tang Dynasty pieces, French, Chinese & Early American antiques, collectible books and Danish-Modern furnishings. Items are believed to be time period according to appearance and description unless otherwise noted. Any tags or previous auction markings have been left on items. The items were photographed on location at the family estate.
Mr. Bradberry had a lengthy entrepreneurial career in the oil industry and served on numerous business, university and medical boards. Throughout their 60+ years of marriage, the Bradberrys traveled the world, always adding to their beloved collection of fine furniture, art and antiquities.
Mr. and Mrs. Bradberry were lifelong benefactors of the University of Arkansas and have an endowed chair in their name at the Sam M. Walton College of Business. They established the Bradberry Family Foundation to further their philanthropic endeavors. Through the Bradberry Family Foundation, they commissioned the City of Fayetteville (Arkansas) Peace Fountain, built the Walton Arts Center Amphitheater, and donated artwork to the Fayetteville Public Library, University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS), and Washington Regional Medical Center. The Center for Robotic Neurosurgery at UAMS carries their name. The Bradberry Family Foundation continues to support community causes throughout the US, most recently supporting children and families struggling through the COVID-19 pandemic.
The catalog will be built over the months of July through September and able to be viewed by the first week of October. Online bidding begins October 12th . Bidding will end on October 30, 2020.
