PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. These terms and conditions are absolute and cannot be altered or changed in any way except in writing by the auctioneer. If you cannot follow these terms 100%, you are welcome to stay as a spectator, but do not bid.
BUYERS PREMIUM: A 13% buyers' premium is added to the final invoice price.
REGISTRATION: You must be at least 18 years old to register and participate in this sale. In order to bid, you must create a username and password. You agree that all information provided during registration is true, accurate and up to date.
AUCTION FORMAT: This is an online only auction. Bids will be accepted online for a period of days indicated, after which the high bidder becomes the winner of each lot they successfully bid on. Lots will close at staggered times, 60 seconds apart. If a bid is placed within 2 minutes of the scheduled auction close, an addition 2 minutes will be added to the bidding for a soft close on that item.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL: No returns or exchanges are accepted. Once the item is sold, the winning bidder becomes the new owner of the item and has effected a legally binding contract which cannot be altered or voided. Additionally, bids cannot be changed or cancelled once submitted.
NO WARRANTIES: All items are sold as is, where is without warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied as to the quality, character or condition.
INSPECTION: The buyer agrees to rely exclusively on his/her personal inspection of the property through photos provided. Photographs are an important part of the item description.
SETTLEMENT: High bidders' will be invoiced in U.S. dollars and credit cards provided at registration will charged within 24 hours of the close of the sale. Buyer agrees that valid credit card information has been provided, you will accept all charges and that you will not charge back any charges placed by the auction company in accordance with fees discussed throughout the terms and conditions (ie high bid, buyer's premium, shipping/handling/insurance, no-show and late show fees). All purchases are subject to 7.25% Lucas County Ohio sales tax unless you have submitted a valid tax exemption certificate prior to the auction's end or unless you are an out of state buyer having items shipped to you..
DELIVERY/PICKUP: Shipping to the United States ONLY. Items will be shipped via USPS priority mail with tracking and insurance. Buyers are responsible for all shipping/handling/insurance costs. Shipping by USPS priority mail with insurance. There is a $5 handling fee per box shipped. We will combine lots for shipping when possible, but reserve the right to send multiple boxes when needed and deemed necessary by Montrie Auction. Pickup times will be on Monday, October 5th from 11am-3pm and Tuesday, October 6th from 4:30pm-8pm by appointment (appointment link will be provided to high bidders). You you will be required to wear a mask and present proper identification during pickup. No show for pickup or late pickup will have a $20 fee that will be charged to credit card provided during registration. Items not picked up within 2 weeks are considered abandoned and becomes the property of Montrie Auction & Estate Service L.L.C. Any such items will be resold or disposed of without any reimbursement or refund to the buyer. Remember, you do have the option to have items shipped for an additional charge.
CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE: Auctioneer reserves the right to modify or cancel lots and extend or change close dates.
CLAIMS: Any claims or disputes arising out of these terms and conditions or this auction will be settled in Lucas County, Ohio.
