Winning bidders will receive an email invoice with the address, payment and pick-up instructions. Payment and pick up will occur at Lampatuer, 6209 Oak St, Kansas City, MO 64113 on Friday, January 26th from 2 to 5 pm and Saturday, January 27th from 10 am to 1 pm.
SHIPPING IS A SEPARATE TRANSACTION: The cost of packing and shipping items that are not picked up is a charge separate and apart from the auction purchase. We typically do not combine shipping costs with auction purchase costs. Following payment of this invoice we will, on a first-come first-served basis, wrap and pack your purchases in order to calculate the most precise cost of shipping. Depending on sale volume, this could take as long as three days.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING: Handling and materials costs range $9 to $15 for most items, depending on size, weight and or fragility, plus the actual cost of postage or carrier fees and insurance. Items that require a wood crate or banding to a pallet for maximum safety will be charged at $16.00 per man hour calculated to the 1/4 hour for labor plus the cost of materials. Most crates fall into the $50 to $150 range. Items designated as over-sized by commercial carriers and those weighing more than 100 pounds are best shipped by 'blanket wrap' carriers. Large items, Furniture, International Shipments and items deemed excessively fragile by Dirk Soulis Auctions may require special handling by a third party shipper. In this instance, Dirk Soulis Auctions will coordinate with the buyer's chosen shipper and will endeavor to provide as much assistance as possible.
