Payment
Your Registered Credit Card WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED between approximately 24 to 48 hours after the Auction Close Time. Contact us before this time to make other arrangements or change your invoice for Bank Wire or Cash Payment.

Successful Bidder is solely responsible to pay Seller or relevant taxing authority any and all applicable taxes (including sales/use taxes, value added taxes, other taxes, duties and tariffs) in connection with the auction or the purchase/sale of the Auctioned Item. In the event the Successful Bidder claims an exemption from any applicable tax, Successful Bidder shall provide any documentation to substantiate such to any applicable tax authorities and Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc. Successful Bidder will provide a Resale Certificate or Tax Exempt Certificate, as applicable prior to the AUTOMATIC charge and/or payment is completed, by email at auctions@med.equipment. If the item is shipped to any state other than Massachusetts or Florida, the Successful Bidder is to reconcile directly with the taxing authority, where applicable.
Inspection
Successful Bidder acknowledges that Successful Bidder has been afforded ample opportunity to inspect the Auctioned Item. We attempt to provide pictures with units powered-on, but if you need additional images or information please contact us. Buyer is responsible for inspection before bidding ends. Inspection will be available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, to be scheduled up to 10 days prior to the end of the auction bids close. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the Sales Department at sales@med.equipment and/or 1.508.996.9005, ext. 2 for Sales.
Auction Rules
In the event the Successful Bidder fails to make payment of the auction price as scheduled or otherwise perform as required, such person or party shall be disqualified from the auction. Upon such disqualification Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc. will then notify the next highest bidder who will then automatically become the Successful Bidder, provided however, that Seller was not at fault. Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc. shall follow such procedure successively until the purchase/sale transaction is finalized by the Seller and the Successful Bidder. The amount already paid by a disqualified former Successful Bidder will be retained by Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc. as an administrative fee.
The items will close in the order listed on the website. This Auction will feature automatic bid extension, which will grant a 30 second extension to the end of the auction of any item receiving a bid during the last 1 minute. All internet bids are treated as if they were given at a live auction. All Bidders will be held accountable for their internet bids. Your internet bids are a contract and you are responsible for honoring them. Payment in full is due no later 2 business days after the close of the Auction, or 5 business days after the close of the auction for bank transfer or cash payments. Invoices where Grand Totals exceed $7,500 USD must be paid via Bank Wire, Certified Check or Cash in Hand. Please note, there is a discount for bank wire, certified check and cash payments. The Removal Deadline for all items in this auction is 7 business days after the close of the Auction. Please contact us before bidding if special arrangements are necessary for an extension. Buyer must also pay all sales, export, use and other taxes due to any federal, state or local taxing authority as a result of Buyer's purchase, including without limitation, any taxes arising from any Buyer's Premium. To receive the benefit of any tax exemption, Buyer must supply Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc. with a sales tax exemption certificate or other state approved form of exemption, such as non profit, etc. There will be no adjustments to the final bid price after bidding has ended. All items in this auction are sold on an "AS IS" basis with no warranties or representations whatsoever, either expressed or implied. Neither Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc., nor the Sellers, where applicable, make any warranties or representations of any kind with respect to the property or its value, and in no event shall they be responsible for correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance, authenticity, authorship, completeness, condition of the property or estimate of its value. No statement (oral or written) in the catalog, during inspection, or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty or representation, or any assumption of responsibility. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, THE WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. Buyer Terms: 15% Buyer Premium, 4% Discount for Cash, Certified Check or Bank Wire. Credit cards will be automatically charged after 3 business days from the auction close if we do not hear from you about cash, check or bank wire payment.
REMOVAL & ABANDONMENT
No property removed until fully paid. Please remove items within 10 Days. Buyers will be subject to a storage fee of $25 per day per Lot for equipment that is not removed within 10 days of the Auction Close Date or Items will be Declared Abandoned.
Arbitration
In the event any dispute or controversy arises from the auction, without limiting the effect of the arbitration clause below, each Seller and Successful Bidder and Winning Bidder consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal and/or State courts having jurisdiction over the matters arising in the State of Massachusetts and waive any claim of lack of jurisdiction, improper venue or inconvenient forum and if applicable, right to a jury.
Any controversy or claim relating to Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc. arising out of or relating to the auctions on this Site will be settled by arbitration, before one (1) arbitrator in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association then in effect and judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. The arbitrator will be selected by the parties, from a panel of attorney arbitrators experienced in the computer industry. Any arbitration shall be held at the offices of the American Arbitration Association in the State of Massachusetts. The language of arbitration shall be English. Either party hereto may request that any decision of the arbitrator be a reasoned decision and set forth the findings of fact and conclusions of law upon which the award is based. The arbitrator may not, in any event, make any relief, finding or award that does not conform to the terms and conditions of this Auction Terms. Either party, before or during or after any arbitration, may apply to a court having jurisdiction for a temporary, provisional or permanent order of relief to protect its interests.
These Auction Terms, including all documents incorporated herein by reference, constitute the entire understanding and agreement between the parties with respect to the auctions on this Site, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, representations, proposals, course of dealing, course of performance or usage of trade, statements and negotiations, unless such is in writing and signed by Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc.
No modification or amendment of any provision provided herein shall be valid unless the same shall be in writing and signed by Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc.
Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc. reserves right to revise or amend these Auction Terms and its ancillary documents at any time.
SHIPPING / PICK UP
Successful Bidder will comply with all removal and shipping requirements of Seller.
Successful Bidder warrants and represents to Medical Equipment Dynamics, Inc. and Seller that Successful Bidder is solely responsible to comply with all export and import laws of any applicable country, including the U.S., in the event the Auctioned Item is to be shipped into or out of the U.S.
Pickup is required by [(unique auction time-frame + 10 days)]. Items remaining after this time without making alternative arrangements will be declared abandoned & RE-SOLD. Exclusions can be provided if you contact us to make proper arrangements. Communication is Very Important.

Van Lines Transport or other Carriers not Requiring full-on-site packaging
Many items are recommended to ship by a Van Lines carrier, instead of freight. If you would like MED to wrap and protect the item(s) for this, Contact Us and we can provide a reasonable, custom quote based on the extent of work and materials needed, such as bubble wrap, cardboard sheets, shrink wrap, and boxes.
