Pyrex 1938. This Is The First Design Marketed For Home Use Of Pyrex, Which Was Already Standard Heat Proof Glass Made For Chemical Industry. The Odd Design Of A Pointed Lid Knob Soon Evolved To Rounded And Finally To Flattened Buttons, Easier To Place The Lid Upside-down.
