Hornick Auction Service (HAS) – Online Auction Notice All items are sold as is, where is; no warranty or refund on items sold. 10% Buyer's Premium on all online purchases for any method of payment Gun Purchases: Buyer’s must be a West Virginia Resident and 21 years of age to buy firearms. Buyers will need to complete Firearm Forms prior to pick up and payment. Firearms must be picked up on designated date. Firearms are to be paid in full by cash or check, prior to picking up item. Paper Money and Coins: Lots that include items of currency, must meet face value to sale. Payment: Bidder’s invoice must be paid in full before taking possession of the items. Payment at pickup can be accepted upon Notification. If you would like to pay with a form of payment other than the credit card on file, please notify HAS within 24 hours of the auction closing. Payments accepted check, cash, money order, Credit Card. The credit card on file with your online account will be charged automatically at the conclusion of the auction. If your card on file is declined, you will be contacted within 24 hours to arrange alternate payment. Items not paid for will remain the property of HAS. Inspection of Items: Bidders are encouraged to come and preview items in person during the scheduled preview dates. Every item in the auction will be available during the preview. It is the bidder’s responsibility to inspect each item. The bidder is responsible for any bids made on any items. It is up to the bidder’s discretion to determine the quality of the item either in person or by picture before bidding. No bids will be reversed and there will be no refunds. Removal of Items: Local pickup is available on the scheduled date and time only. HAS does have the right to change scheduled pick-up dates due to circumstances which they see fit. HAS will notify customers of any changes within 24 hours of the auction closing. Forfeiture: If a bidder does not pick up items at the scheduled time and has not made other arrangements by the end of the designated pick-up time, the bidder will be responsible for paying the invoice. Items will remain as HAS property. There will be no refunds for items not picked up or bid on by accident. As-Is, Where Is: All items and lots are sold on an As-Is, Where-Is and With All Faults basis without exception. There is no warranty, and the bidder acknowledges this. There is a live preview offered for the inspection of items, at HAS we strongly encourage bidders to come inspect items to determine its condition before bidding. HAS shall not be held responsible and will not give refunds for items that the bidder knowingly bid on whether or not they inspected the item. Auction Closing: The Auction will begin to close with the first lot at a specified time. Each lot will continue to close in order by lot every 30 seconds. If there is a bid in the last 60 seconds of the lot closing the Lot will remain open until the bidding stops. The closing of the auction will depend on the number of lots and bids per lot. Online Bidding Disclaimer: HAS uses a third-party bidding platform to facilitate the collection and recording of online bidders. HAS shall not be held responsible for any technical errors and/or mistakes that may occur during the auction. Errors may occur. Bidding Errors: All bids are final once an item has sold. Once bidding for a lot has closed, bids cannot be deleted or removed. Outbid notifications are sent as a courtesy on behalf of the third-party bidding platform. HAS is not responsible for any delay in the sending of the notifications.
