FIREARMS REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL BUYERS: Buyers must be at least 18 to buy a long gun, and at least 21 to buy a handgun or firearm receiver. Buyers must not be purchasing on behalf of another individual. If not a Colorado resident, any handgun purchases must be shipped to an FFL dealer of the state of residency. If magazines shown with a firearm are of a capacity that is restricted in your state, they will NOT be included with the purchase.
FIREARMS NOTE for ON-SITE buyers: Firearms must be paid for in full on the day of the auction to Kreps Wiedeman. Paid receipts can then be shown to the FFL dealer, Hired Guns & Ammo, who will initiate background checks for successful bidders. Following approval, purchased firearms may then be picked up 72 hours after at Hired Guns & Ammo. Shipping to a designated FFL will also be available. The state-mandated background check fee will be $12.50, and the transfer fee will be $30 for the first firearm, $15 for each additional up to 10. Both fees will need to be paid directly to Hired Guns & Ammo.
FIREARMS NOTE for ON-LINE buyers: Firearms invoices must be paid in full within 3 business days to Kreps Wiedeman. If you are an on-line buyer and have not received an invoice by 5 pm Monday, June 24th, please notify Kreps Wiedeman at (970) 356-3943. Paid receipts can then be provided to the FFL dealer, Hired Guns & Ammo, who will either:
1) initiate background check for successful bidders to pick up purchases at their location in Kersey, for Colorado residents the State mandated background check fee will be $12.50.
2) handle shipping to a designated FFL dealer in compliance with state and federal regulations through the designated receiving FFL dealer.
For all buyers picking up purchases at Hired Guns & Ammo in Kersey, the transfer fee will be $30 for the first firearm, $15 for each additional up to 10. Both fees will be paid directly to Hired Guns & Ammo unless firearms are shipped to a different FFL licensee. For buyers shipping their purchases to any other FFL licensee, transfer fees will be determined by the receiving FFL.
