NAME: Bull Market
BREED: TB
SEX: Gelding
HEIGHT: 16.1hh(Not measured)
AGE: 9yo
All round family mount. Independently handled and ridden by children under instruction. Incredible temperament, he is a gentleman.
Highly exposed on the trails, alone or in a group. Seen Roos, emus, stock, heard gunshots, stock whip, use to traffic, trucks, machinery, noisy kids, motorbikes, and dogs running around. Will stop and look at Roos and emus, no nasties or vices just wants to see. Regularly used to lead daughter on pony, leading breakers for miles, ridden with large groups of bikes. Day trips, overnight camps, clinics, been to gymkhana, beach, forest, lake, ridden through town, obstacles, ridden home, extensive bush riding. Used for lessons, and spent a short time with the RDA. Loads and floats easily, travelled most of Aus during his racing days and has done the miles in the last 16 months. Tack up and go, don't lunge to ride. Good in inconsistent work and after a spell. Will plod on the buckle all day long, and loves his trail rides. Isn't phased about being alone.
He is a very kind patient boy. Nice ride on the flat, loads of potential for someone keen on dressage or showing. Sits nicely in your hand, responsive off the leg without being reactive (accustomed to little flapping legs banging on his sides)
Started laterals under saddle, trained in hand, taught to high five and learning in hand half steps. Basic pole work, pretty useless over-show jumps, better with logs and jumps on the trails. Not overly keen on cattle, will push a mob from behind. Not suited penning or sorting, gets hot and anxious.
Would suit someone who can independently walk, trot, and canter and enjoys trail riding and doing a bit of everything and looking for a horse who has seen a lot of different environments. Hasn't shown to be phased in a busy/comp environment. Ideally a home with Ott experience, who can appreciate how much of a rare hwm he is.
Is the boss of the paddock with other horses. Easy doer, currently in paddock condition on hay. Been Barefoot for 16 months and coping well. Teeth are due in September, feet are due now. Ridden in baucher bit, English or western tack.
Only moving on due to my growing family. Has been transported 7 hours down to Goolwa to make for easier pickup for new owner. No reserve to suit the current market. Very detailed footage has been provided in the hopes of finding his perfect person.
Pick up location: GOOLWA SA
