ADDENDUM:
A CarFax report has been obtained for this vehicle and the vehicle history has been reviewed by CCP Auctions.
LOCATION OF VEHICLE:
This vehicle is located, for pickup purposes, in Foothills County, Alberta
PHOTOS:
Photography for this vehicle has been provided by the Seller
This truck started out as a farm truck and originally an Alberta truck, a guy in Calgary bought it off the farmer, he didn’t really do much with it, then current owner bought it in 2003.
It was then blown apart, right down to the frame. Then put a 76 Camaro front clip on it, it’s all fish plated on the inside of the frame so you can’t see it and on the outside is a wedge from the Camaro frame to the truck frame, all done so you can’t tell it’s a Camaro frame on the front end, everything is overbuilt on it.
Chris Alston back half on it, with his 4 link set up, attached to a Dutchmen fab 9” with a Detroit locker inside.
To complete the suspension a ride tech shockwave air suspension was put in to finish it off.
The engine is a big block Chevy, all aluminum 632, Dyno tuned outside of Okotoks. March serpentine polished kit and serpentine belt
Behind it is a turbo 400 reverse shift, all internal from tci with trans brake and line lock. Motor has a mid plate and front plate.
Custom all aluminum 4” driveshaft. Aeromotive fuel pump and filters feeding the big block Chevy with stainless braided lines and AN fittings
Fuel tank is new and between the frame rails under the bed. The battery was mounted on the frame with remote posts behind the passenger seat in case the battery ever died
Stuffed the biggest radiator with twin electric fans and can idle in traffic all day without overheating.
The front fenders, hood, complete box are all new(epoxy from factory, no bondo on them at all. The cab and doors are the only original parts on the truck, the cab corners were done and a new fire wall and floor were put in to clear the 632. And sun visor welded onto to cab to make it look like it came that way from the factory.
All the work was done by a custom hot rod shop outside of Medicine Hat. He put the same primer on the cab as what’s on the fenders and box. That’s why it looks to be a different shade but it’s all epoxy primer. Can put the buyer in contact with the company if they choose to have the same company paint the truck
To cap off the box a Gaylord’s tonneau cover was put on it, again still new, epoxy from factory on it.
The air tank is in the front of the bed out of the way. All the air and electrical lines run in painless braided wire loom to keep everything neat and tidy
The bed tilts up with two linear actuators and dual controller by digital Dakota. The hood is a tilt forward style.
In the cab a custom center console was made for it and mounted the air bag controller on it. On the end of the console is the key, wiper switch and light switch, from Ron Francis hidden so you can’t see them, keeping the dash as smooth as I possibly could, even the glove box is welded in so it continues the shaved look
All auto meter gauges, tach, Speedo, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, volts, transmission temp. One piece side glass with power windows.
Door poppers were installed with shaved door handles. Extra switched under the outside cowl in case the remote ever quit working, and a pull handle behind the driver fender in case the battery ever died.
American auto wire wiring kit installed so most of the wires are hidden. What is exposed is wrapped in painless wire wrapping so it blends in.
For the brakes, a hydro boost was mounted on the frame going to Wilwood 4 piston polished calipers and drilled and slotted rotors. Stainless lines for all brake lines.
The truck has been on the road only the last couple years, only 340 kms on it, was expecting minor problems hence why it’s not painted yet but there never was any issue in the 340 kms it has on it. The truck handles really good with the air bag suspension.
Honestly the only thing left to do is paint and door panels and carpet if you want to.
