The collection spans 50 years of avid collecting by the homestead's owner Lawrie Voutier known to many from the TV series "The Demolition Man". Yarra Valley Auctions will be proud to disperse the huge collection, commencing with an auction on Sunday 16th June, which will be followed by a number of auctions over coming months. The first auction will offer the content of the outside sheds on the impressive property. It will include Lawrie's cast iron collection, 2 Holden Monaros, a pyramid of water carts that includes classic Furphy, Laughton, Fitz, and Close carts. Also an antique cast iron Letter Box, a Phone Booth, an Imperial Mc Donald stationary engine, 6 large cast iron coffee grinders on stands - brands include, Purhouse, Enterprise, Kenrick & Sons and Parkes. Along with enamel and tin signs, 5 large Victorian cast iron ornate planters with multi arms, anvils, cast iron wheels, boilers, horse works, mangles, an Edison phonograph, early Kooka stove, laundry items, telephones, petrol tins, bottles & racks, table top wool & dairyman's wagons, Kenrick, Clarke pots, pans & boilers. Also a 1903 live steam model train which includes timber tracks, signals, a steel bridge, 3 engines and 13 carriages - custom built for a Dr.Orr of Eltham. Auction will be livestreamed Online Only.
