Quechua MH100, Camping Tent, 3 People
An accessible tent that passes all our durability and waterproofing tests. The self-standing dome structure allows you move it once it has been assembled, to find the best location.
Easy assembly/dismantling: Free-standing structure. Simple to pitch with poles.
Capacity: 82.7" x 76.8" bedroom. (3 x 25.6" sleeping spaces) Max useful height: 49.2".
Easy to transport: Size of the bag: 23.2" x 7.5" x 7.5" / 20 L. Weight: 7.5 lbs
Heat resistant: Flysheet and ventilation at the back. Not equipped with Fresh technology.
Classic dome structure: Fit the poles on the inner tent, then attach the flysheet over it. Reverse the process to unpitch. If it is windy, it is advisable to attach the guy ropes that are provided in the tent bag.
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or backpacking mattress measuring 25.6" maximum. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 2.4" thick in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.
1 high air vent at the back. Correctly position the lateral tent pegs to maintain a space between the flysheet and the ground all around the tent. The good air circulation between the bedroom and the flysheet will limit the natural phenomenon of condensation.
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/m?/h for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (2,000 mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 4.2 oz/m? polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 25 mph near the ground (Force 5).
